Hey Yorky65,
I get where you're coming from regarding the always busy worlds of Anno 1800.
However, the way the game is set-up with the calculations of each region necessary in the background for things like trade routes, income, research and the quick switch between regions, it's unfortunately not possible to pause worlds like you suggested.
Sorry for being the bringer of bad news here.

Cheers,
Thorlof

@araceaehh Creating a new region is a very high-effort project, requiring new islands, buildings, etc., this effort has to be carefully balanced with projected sales as well as availability of team members.
Additionally, as you already surmised, new content, especially new islands and regions, are having a huge impact on performance and hardware requirements. So there are also certain limits here since optimizations are a lot trickier in a game that is already live compared to the time before release.

Think of it as the Anno version of "the Emperor protects" ;)

We are indeed not forgetting about regular ships with DLC 11. But that's all I can say for now - more details in summer

I was there quite a few times as kid, since it is close to my hometown!

Update: the bundle is updated and some older wallpapers were added that were missing as well. Season 4 stuff will be added later this year.

Not yet, I'm afraid. Just noticed there are some more inconsistencies, so we'll have to update a few other artworks in there as well.

Hey, from where are you accessing the store? I had a look at a few of our store pages and was able to find it (Land of Lions: https://store.ubi.com/5f58b5140d253c154cccdbba.html)

there was this comment on the discord channel:

u/Ubi-Thorlof | Oliver Is there a chance that the fertilizer works will get adjusted?

Ubi-Thorlof | Oliver — 11/04/2022

potentially, we'll discuss some balancing feedback this week or the next

I refuse to believe its not meant to have been 1 minute or even 30 seconds to produce one fertilizer. Not because its how powerful I want it to be, but simply because thats how powerful one should expect it to be considering how the fuel station and grain silos work. like, its 1 oil spring/oil refinery/rail network/oil tradeport/fuel station for 20 farms, 1 grain/corn/teff farm for 5 animal farms and...

Complete Edition is the base game, digital deluxe pack, and Season Passes 1-4. No Cosmetic DLCs.

Awesome! I also just found another thread with someone asking basically the same question as me, so my bad for jumping the gun with this.

I heard someone there suggest getting the base game + the season passes for S1, S2, and S3 since it ends up being cheaper than the "complete" edition which has S4 but that apparently won't be finished until the end of the year if I understand correctly?

Again, it definitely is a bit overwhelming lol...

So all the DLCs for Passes 1-3 are out now. The first S4 DLC came out last week, with the other two coming this Summer and end of the year, respectively.

Hey, and welcome to the Anno community! it is true that the start can be a bit overwhelming by now.

My suggestion would be that you first play the campaign with only 1-2 systemic DLCs like Bright Harvest or so. When you have beaten that (which should take you 8-12 hours or so), you might feel better prepared to start a new sandbox game with more of the big DLCs enabled.

Also, the community on this subreddit and the Annoverse Discord are lovely, and always happy to give you advice in case you ever feel swamped :)

Wow, seems we know the same magic Magic 8 Ball!

The full price of all three standalone DLCs is around 35€, so the Pass is around 10€ worth of savings.
