It sounds like you'll need to appeal the ban. That isn't something we can take care of on Steam, so I would suggest taking the issue to Ubisoft Support [support.ubi.com] so they can look into the matter for you.

Hi Rage!

Can you walk me through what happened before you received a ban notification?

Hi there, @Courtneybird1997.

It looks like your case was submitted a couple days ago. It can take ToS At least 72 hours to respond, but can be longer. Especially these days when more players are staying home. I see your case is still awaiting investigation. Someone from ToS will email you as soon as that completes. It might take a few more days though so keep an eye on your email. Thanks!

If you feel you have been incorrectly banned, you can dispute any action against your EA account by following the steps in this article:

Hey @Yayeeter0909,

That's not information we'd be able to provide on the forums, I'm afraid.

An email should have been sent to your registered email address with more information on the account action.

If that's not showing up in your junk/trash/spam folders, you can reach out to an advisor with the link below and they can provide more info for you.

Sorry about that @Yayeeter0909, looks like I had an extra space in the URL there.

The link should be working correctly now. That will let you create a case and an advisor will reach back out via email, but there isn't an inbound email address to provide. Mako.png

Hi @foolfools

If you feel the ban was mistakenly placed on your account, it would be best to fill out the webform so Terms of service can look into that for you.

Please read through our thread for EA Bans and Suspensions to learn more about the webform, bans and suspensions: https://answers.ea.com/t5/EA-General-Questions/EA-Bans-and-Suspensions-How-they-work-and-how-to-get-...

Thanks,

Hi there, @Infamous_iNF.

You can dispute the action taken on the account 3 times. If they are still declining to remove the ban, it means multiple investigations have been performed and no evidence was found that warrants removing it. I'm very sorry, but in that case, the ban will need to remain. However, if your account was hacked, you should contact an advisor to make sure it's completely under your control. That can be done by opening a case here. Thanks!

Hey @1123454321cat,

When we review reported violations of the User Agreement, we have to take into account how certain words or phrases come across to strangers that may not be familiar with you on a personal basis.

While you may use certain language in your daily life, we don't permit slurs or other racially charged language to be used. We have to take what's said at face value and when that's reported and brought to our attention, will action it accordingly.

Feel free to check through the User Agreement above, though if you do feel the action was applied incorrectly you're welcome to appeal with our Terms of Service team. They will take another look and reach out to you via email once they've completed the investigation.

Bans are not discussed on the forums. If you or anyone else wants to appeal their ban, please do so here: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=228543

Hi @snowy_is_pog

Unfortunately it sounds like the rules were broken in your case. If there rules were broken, then the bans correctly applied and will remain in place. There is nothing that we can do to change this.

You will need to speak to our Terms of Service team in relation to any ban @grit2344.

There is no other way to speak with the team and we are not able to assist with TOS issues on AHQ.

The process to contact our ToS team can be found here: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/account/information-about-banned-or-suspended-accounts/

  1. Click Contact us at the top of any page on EA Help.
  2. Select the game that your account was banned or suspended from. If it’s on your whole EA Account, choose Origin.
  3. Choose your platform.
  4. Select Manage my account, then Banned or suspended account.
  5. Fill out any other details below.
    • For example, if you picked Origin, it might ask you if you are accessing the game through an Origin Access membership.
  6. Click Select contact option.
  7. Sign in to your account that has the ban or suspension, if you aren’t already.

Hey @piyoleaf,

I'm afraid we're unable to review any account actions on the forums.

The account history page shows specific types of actions, but not all in-game suspensions or bans will appear here, sorry for the confusion.

For this you'll need to contact our Terms of Service team to appeal this action. If you haven't already done so, you can reach them using these steps

The ToS team will contact you via email once they've completed their investigation, so please keep an eye on your email address after this, thanks!

We're not able to help with banned accounts through Answers HQ. The following article has more information on bans and how to dispute them. Thanks!

@MoraFFox

This is not a support issue, this is something our Terms of Service team will handle, thanks.

Hey @AdamBD12 please do not make multiple threads for the same issue.

If someone is abusive to you in-game you need to report them, reacting with abuse can result in action being taken on your account.

You can report users here: https://www.easy.ac/en-us/support/apexlegends/contact/report/

Hello @frost1e123 sorry to hear about your ban, usually we are unable to discuss temporary bans or permanent ban details on our forums.

At the moment you seem to be posting in our Mario Rabbids forum, can you let us know what game you are referring to where you were disconnected, so we can move you to the correct forums section if needed? Did you also see any particular error code or message at the time?

25 days ago - EA_Mako - Direct link

Hey folks,

If you received a ban or suspension for in-game chat, please don't repeat that language on the forums.

We are unable to review or change any bans or suspensions on the forums, so please create an appeal to our Terms of Service team using these steps  if you'd like to have this investigated further.

Our ToS team will reach back out via email once they've completed an investigation, thanks!
