If you've already pre-ordered directly through the Intrepid site previously, in this case I'd likely recommend upgrading directly through the Intrepid site as well to keep all your items and account information in the same place for now! As mentioned above and in other posts we've shared recently, we plan to offer you the option to transfer this package to your relevant region in the future.

The regional tags are helpful both when viewing the "Recent Discussions" list as well as searching for specific guild types (so you can see their region at a glance), so we've left that tag in for each section! However, I definitely agree that time zone would be helpful as well - as such, I've edited all 3 "Read Me First!" posts in the Guild Recruitment sections to clarify that guilds should include their time zone in the title.

It sounds like hopefully some folks above have helped clarify any confusion here - the "game time" available in each of these pre-order packages is subscription time that you'll be able to use upon launch! These packages also offer an exclusive window into our early testing and a handful of cosmetics that you can utilize - if you'd like to wait until launch as others have mentioned, there will be no box cost involved to play Ashes of Creation (only a monthly subscription).

This is a fairly hefty question, and would be a great topic to discuss in our General Discussion forum section instead of the Support section of our forums, but I'll answer a small bit here for ya to get you started. :smile:

So far, we have let folks know that we will have a variety of damage types and these will be mitigated by defensive stats on different types of armor.

For example:
- Magic damage is mitigated by cloth armor
- Physical damage is mitigated by plate armor

In regards to sub-types of damage, we have talked about elements (like air, fire, water, and lightning) each with their own resistances which will be affected by seasons and environments.

For example:
- Frost abilities may be stronger in the winter than in the summer.
