I am a lover of player driven content, but there is a catch here, AoC needs a tiny system because it is not possible withdrawing money from the Node.
AoC differs from EVE in that you cannot withdraw the money from the Node and keep it for yourself. In EVE, however, it is possible to take the corporation's money and abscond with it. In fact, scamming is one of the 108 careers suggested by the developers.
I think AoC requires a system for using the Node's money to pay ransoms. To facilitate this, a window should be created where the mayor can allocate funds from the node.. Even citizens and non-citizens should be able to donate money by walking up to the Node's bulletin board, clicking the ...
Ashes of Creation will absolutely not have pay-to-win of any kind. In addition, once we launch you'll only need a monthly subscription to play Ashes of Creation. There will not be a box cost to start playing the base game or future expansions.

Like a few other people say in this thread, we havenโt done a balance pass on things like aggro generation values and Tank abilities. The Development Update Livestreams are intended to show our progress and the direction things like the Tank archetype are taking. As we say in almost every livestream, what weโre sharing is a work-in-progress, and not the final product.
Youโre right that we donโt plan to have DPS or threat meters in game, and that instead there will be animation and ability indicators to show that Tanks may be losing aggro.
