Thanks for your input on this and I hope that we can get a proper discussion going and get a feel for what other players think. We’re always thankful for feedback, especially on balancing.
I know posts like these always come from a place of passion for the game.

With that said, we would like to balance the game around all our different player types. It’s a challenge but it’s something we won’t stop balancing going forward.

It is an intended change.

The Bearded Ladies is a small team, but some of them do try to pop in from time to time to answer people’s concerns or bug reports. At the moment they’re busy with other stuff, which would get in the way of forum coverage.

The Funcom community team will also pop in from time to time, but we’re working on 4-5 different games, so we’re not always able to cover everything.

We’re rolling out even more patches for the PC version of Conan Exiles, to take care of some remaining lingering issues. You’ll find the full list of patch notes below:

  • Trebuchets cannot be turned
  • The effects for extreme cold and hot statuses are not correctly listed in the tooltips. It is just a visual issue that will be fixed in an upcoming patch

Thanks for the heads-up. We’ll send note to the tavern recruiters in the Exiled lands to be a little more diverse in their requirements or a little more careful in their air conditioning settings.

We received continued messages about some servers being unavailable tonight. Our team is aware and looking into it.

Thank you for giving the game another shot after all that updates :slight_smile: We’re very glad to have you back and hope you like the changes we’ve made.

I can’t give you a simple yes/no answer to your suggestion, but I will pass it along to the dev team.

If you and your friends are playing on a private server (or if you’re in single-player) you can always turn Purges off for the day/night when you all log off. Or you can set specific parameters for when you want the Purge to attack, eliminating offline Purges altogether.

That is intended if your base has no way in. It is a way of combating some cheese bases we’ve been seeing around. :stuck_out_tongue:
