This appears to be a bug when not in English. Sorry about that!

If it's not already reported in Bug Reports, please make a new thread on it there. Thanks.

Mr. Schmitt said: I get a notification saying "this game doesn't support live streaming".
I guess that message makes it pretty clear. Whether there is any plan to change that I have no idea, I am sorry!

You could request that feature in the Suggestions forum, and when there is next a DD for the Console edition ask in that thread too.

All I can think of is to test with NO mods enabled, in a new test campaign. If that runs okay then enable ONE mod only, test with that in another new campaign ... etc.

I hope there aren't too many mods involved!

DXDIAG is a program you run from the Windows search box on the task bar. After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Is it approaching full though?

If so, try unloading every other app you can before starting the game, AND increase your Windows Paging file to say 32gb. Any better?

I think that's a launcher error - you can start these games from EU4.exe amd ck3.exe okay, is that right?

If so Please try this:

- uninstall Paradox Launcher v2 from the Windows "Apps and features" utility, if still present.

Delete the following folders if still present:

- C:/users//AppData/Local/Programs/Paradox Interactive/
- C:/users//AppData/Local/Paradox Interactive/
- C:/users//AppData/Roaming/Paradox Interactive/launcher-v2/
To see the AppData folder you'll need to enable View Hidden Items in File Explorer.

- exit the Steam app entirely
- run steam.exe as the Windows Admin user

- run the game from the PLAY button in Steam

IF that doesn't help, in this folder are some .log files:
C:/users//AppData/Local/Paradox Interactive/launcher-v2/
Please attach them here.

Please do a full **clean** re-install:

- move any valued save games elsewhere
- "uninstall" in Steam-CK3
- manually delete both the Steam/SteamApps/common/CK3 AND Documents/Paradox Interactive/CK3 folders
- re-install game in Steam, run a Steam Verify when done.
- add CK3.exe to the exceptions list of your antivirus app; ESPECIALLY if you have Windows Defender, add it to the Ransomware "Apps Allowed Through" list.
- start the game with no mods active and test

In particular make sure there are no files or folders left under either the Steam CK3 or Documents CK3 locations, before installing again.

If those don't help:

Did you mean to post this in Bug Reports, perhaps?

It'll probably run, but it is again well below the power of the minimum requirement, the Nvidia® GeForce™ GTX 660
UserBenchmark: Nvidia GT 1030 vs GTX 660

  • Processor: Intel® Core™ i3-2120 / AMD® FX 6350
  • Memory: 6 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia® GeForce™ GTX 660 (2GB) / AMD® Radeon™ HD 7870 (2GB) / Intel® Iris Pro™ 580 / Intel® Iris® Plus G7 / AMD® Radeon™ Vega 11

It's not impossible. Do you see the game's memory usage climb as the problem occurs?

Is that mod updated for the current game version? Have you contacted the mod author?

I'm afraid your Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630 is well below the minimum requirement for this game, the Intel® Iris Pro™ 580
UserBenchmark: Intel Iris Pro 580 (Mobile Skylake) vs UHD Graphics 630 (Desktop Coffee Lake i5 i7)
If lowering the graphics quality settings does not help at all, there's probably nothing we can do about that, I am sorry!

That usually means you are looking in the wrong place - there are several Library folders in MacOS.

Did you paste this in exactly as I wrote it ~/Library/Application Support/ , including the leading tilde ~ ?

We have three possible workarounds that may solve it:

Disable IPv6
- Close CK3
- Go to Control Panel > View Network status and tasks > Change adapter settings (left side)
- Find your Hamachi Connection and Disable it
- Find your Internet connection adapter (for me, it was WiFi)
- Right click your internet adapter and select properties
- Scroll down to find "Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) and uncheck the box
- Select Ok
- Start up CK3 and should work.

Disable all other network adapters

  1. Go to Windows Control panel.
  2. Click on Network & Internet.
  3. Click on View Network Status.
Quick Tip: You can also quickly access these settings by right-clicking the network icon in the taskbar and selecting the Network & Internet settings option.
  4. Click on Change adapter options.
  5. Right-click all network adap...

FYI the minimum requirements for this game on MacOS include:
  • Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-7820HQ
  • Memory: 12 GB RAM
Neither of which this machine meets, I'm afraid! All I can really suggest is turning down the graphical qualify settings as much as you can stand, even the resolution. And unload ever other app you can before starting the game.

Sorry about that!

Has it always been like this for you? Or it was okay up to some point?

Does this affect HOI4 and CK2 also?

Please attach here your Documents/Paradox Interactive/CK3/pdx_settings.txt .
From your Documents/Paradox Interactive/CK3/logs/ folder, attach here system.log , error.log

If that is so, you'll need to move over to the Bug Reports forum, as we cannot address code bugs here sorry!

I suspect you'll find other such reports there.

Sorry for that problem!

From your Documents/Paradox Interactive/CK3/logs/ folder, attach here system.log , error.log

Also in Steam please click on Steam-Help-System Info, and paste everything there into a text file and attach that here.

There's another thread here on this repeated error:
[01:16:19][jomini_script_system.cpp:209]: Script system error!
Error: Event target link 'previous_holder' returned an unset scope
Script location: file: common/achievements/ep1_achievements.txt line: 308
which I'm sure is causing the problem. If you see it posted already in the Bug Reports forum here, please add to that thread. Otherwise make a ne wthread there, and add those files plus an affected save game file.

Sorry for that problem!
