Yea that is relevant feedback to give. I'll let the team know that these higher stat rolls on the non-pinnacle activities seem too rare.

Imagine if you could farm every armor piece (Black armory, seasonal, dreaming city, planetary, etc.) with a small chance of this armor having good stats? This change would make every armor set relevant.

This is currently true. All gear does have a chance to roll with high stats. There is a rare chance you could get some 60+ stat armor from Titan.

Some activities could have a higher chance of getting good stats

This is also true with the raid and IB gear. It's weighted towards giving out higher stats, but does have a chance to give low stats. I'll pass along the feedback that with the raids limited amount of drops per week, it feels extra bad to get a poor roll.

Thanks for the post! Armor 2.0 is a relatively young feature that we will continue to iterate on.

Thanks for compiling this list! I’ll send it over to the team so they can have a look. If anyone else has any additional info on when some of the infrequent ones seem to happen more, please feel free to add.

Sorry for any mixed messages. Both times I’ve tried to convey that we know about the issue without promising a timeline on a fix until we know we can deliver.

A massive chunk of userbase of this sub is blinded by their fanboyism and loyalty for Bungie. It's insane. The fact that they even accept that it takes Bungie months to fix tiny issues (That's the excuse everyone replied to me) is insane to me.

No, there is no conspiracy where we are lying about this to keep players from getting an extra stat roll.

It’s not something that would take a few minutes to fix.

Sorry for the inconvenience, we’ll let you know when we have a fix coming.

Xur will not feature random rolls in Season of Dawn. Sorry for the news, but want to set expectations now.

Direct purchase exotic armor will continue to feature collection rolls. Think of this as an avenue for players who have not earned those exotics to check off the box and play around with the perk.

Xur will have the updated Exotic Engram, so once you've collected all weapons, you'll be getting a randomly rolled exotic armor piece each week. Further random roll acquisition will continue to be available through the Nightfall: Ordeal.

We'll continue to collect feedback over Xur and exotic random rolls as it comes in. I have no doubts we'll see players getting some killer rolls from the engram next week, but others continuing their search for the perfect roll.

Currently, we’re in the final week for Season of the Undying in Destiny 2. All players should be aware that after this Season comes to an end, some activities and loot sources will become unavailable. Here are some notable callouts:

  • Undying’s free and premium Season rewards—including acquisition for Eriana’s Vow*
  • Eriana’s Vow catalyst quest*
  • Vex Offensive matchmade activity
  • Vex Invasions on the Moon
  • Vex Weapon Data Seeds from Ikora
  • The Gatelord’s Eye Seasonal Artifact
  • Power bonuses granted from the Seasonal Artifact
  • Season-specific Triumphs, seals, and titles

This still doesn't exactly confirm whether t...

Thanks for the info. Pretty obvious at this point that you have strict instructions not to mention "Trials" or anything related to it.

Re: Trials

We've had a few blog posts talking about Trials of the Nine being on indefinite hiatus, and Luke speaking to what worked and what didn't in one of the Director's Cut blog articles.

This season, Elimination is returning as a static mode that you can play at any time. We collected a lot of feedback from Crucible Labs over the last season, and we'll continue to look at how the mode plays this season with upcoming Sandbox changes and other things. You bet your ass I'll be in there.

Please continue to sound off with what works and what does...

I don't know why I do this sometimes. Maybe it's because of an old Mythic Bungie.net member that I remember from time to time who always signed their posts.

Hey all,

At Shadowkeep launch, we refreshed the Crucible nodes, added a Solo playlist for Comp, refactored Glory gains, and started curating Crucible maps to pull ones that weren't performing well out of rotation for some love. This was the beginning of our work on Crucible over the next year, and we are far from done.

In Season of Dawn, we'll be reintroducing Rusted Lands, bringing Elimination to a static playlist node available at all times, and doing a bit of Sandbox work to refresh how Crucible gameplay feels. A few weeks back, we previewed the changes for OEM and Recluse, which may shift the sandbox around a bit. On top of that, we have a slew of new legendary weapons, exotic armor pieces, and subclass changes which we hope will push players to new builds. We'll also have a few maps returning to rotation with fixes to spawns and other issues, with a selection of maps being removed. We'll have some details on that in the TWAB later this afternoon.

As for...

Hey all,

Thanks for the post. Last season, we were getting feedback that players wanted Armor 2.0 variants of older Vanguard/Crucible armor, and previously featured Iron Banner sets.

At Shadowkeep launch, Vanguard/Crucible featured Destiny 2 launch sets, which will be updated to Forsaken sets in Season of Dawn. Additionally, the Destiny 2 launch Iron Banner will be returning with Armor 2.0 functionality.

As for the desire of armor vendor refreshes, we are continuing to pass this feedback along to the dev team.

/u/dmg04 and I have spoken to the team about this. We've mentioned that it's tough for players who prefer PVP to MW currently since the higher tier materials are not available in PVP activities. Nothing is set in stone, but they are aware of the request.
