Hi engineers,

Before the 4th update log in this week, I would like to introduce the MINIMUM requirement of being visible (the threshold to see yourself appear) on Milky Way:
1. One solar sail or Dyson Sphere node is launched
2. The savedata's version is 0.7.18 or above;
3. NO CHEATING (Using third-party software to modify the game data will be judge as cheating)

Bugfix:
  • Fixed the bug that the Logistic Station could't be clicked in Planet View mode

We have reached the start of Civilization Type III. In the future, the Dyson Sphere Program universe will become even broader because of our joint efforts.

Before we go to the update log, CentreBrain wants to send you some special tips that will affect your game progress:
·Crude oil becomes a consuming resource. The less crude oil remaining in the blowout well, the more difficult it will be to collect. The extraction efficiency can be down to 0.1/s. To keep your extraction efficiency, you can change the resource magnification setting and upgrade the mineral utilization level.
·The Cluster Seeds are different from the old version.
·You need to reopen the file to experience some of the newly added content
·Blueprint is NOT included in this update yet but on the way!

Q: Do we need to start a new game after the update?
A: We are bringing lots of new content in this update, like new planets and modifications on recipe values. All the new changes can only be seen in a new savedata created after the update.

In this announcement, we are bringing the dish menu to you!

Our team has focused our energy on several issues that are of great concern to the engineers, and Dyson Sphere Program will achieve a major update in mid-to-late May.
This won't be a earth-shaking one, but it will certainly remove many obstacles for the engineers' work.

With the coming of April, we are about to enter the rhythm of medium / large scale content development, and a new round of difficulties, and an intensive development schedule. The Creative Mode update is finally out and we are already looking into some additional fixes.
Today we took care of a few reported crashes and some other issues.

Bug fixes
  • Fixed an issue where world builder worlds from previous versions of the game did not work.
  • Fixed Connect Tool connection highlight color.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when clients joined the game with a tool equipped.
  • Fixed an issue that caused creations to be missing on the first load of old save files.
Modding
  • Fixed a crash that occurred when loading invalid harvestable renderable json.

Creative mode Update 0.5.0 is finally here!

New creative mode worlds
Welcome to the new and updated creative mode! Not only did we make it look better to go hand in hand with the survival world but we also finally added water to the creative terrain. All trees can now be cut down and rocks can be drilled. Excellent for testing out ideas for your creations in Survival mode. We also gave the flat world an updated ground texture.
The new one should give a much better sense of movement and speed.

New capsules
Both bot and animal capsules have been added to creative mode.
Place them on the ground then shot or hit a capsule to release them into your world.
There is a lot of fun things you can do with these. Check the useful chat commands below.

Paint bots in different colors and see them attack each other.

  • Fixed the bug that the facility' power consumption was not upgraded after a 'quick upgrading'.
  • Fixed the bug that the facility' animation was not upgraded after a 'quick upgrading'.
  • Added a function of 'Savedata Modification' log. You will be able to look up how your savedata was adjusted after the game updates. We added it In order to prevent the similar situation in the future and reduce some impact of facility data adjustment.

Dear engineers,

We were just astonished to find that the power generation and power consumption of the facilities remained unchanged after a 'quick upgrade'. It is a bug and we are going to fix it soon.

We're sorry to inform that a decline in the electric power supply should be expected after the bug fix, and it may result in large-scale blackouts. Please understand that Centrebrain executes no half measures. So, Engineers! Please prepare your power supply plan and develop the power grid in advance to overcome the upcoming Centrebrain's firmware update.

We will also be adding a function for you to see how the savedata is adjusted after the game version is updated.
