If you're refering to those servers not yet having been updated, you can use the already mentioned workaround to connect to them.

We're also aware of an issue that prevents some players to join some servers and are currently investigating it to provide a hotfix as soon as the issue has been identified and fixed. If you are affected by that, providing the server log, the save and the exact ingame names of affected users to [email protected] would help us.

The general locations of ores didn't change in Update 10 - only their distribution. Looking around the usual places should still provide you with the ore you seek - it's just no longer there in big chunks, but more distributed veins.

Kicking them from the town removes their property from your jurisdiction, making you unable to expropriate them. At an executive action desk you can make a basic one-off law alike "If property owned by X, transfer property to X". (Or instead use a condition on if the property is owned by someone that is in abandoned group, for example)

Did you generate a world with default size? Until next update influence doesn't automatically adjust when you use bigger than intended world sizes. If that's the case for you, make sure to revisit the config after the update, as you may otherwise have even higher influence circles due to the multiplier from world size.

Do you by chance have any controller connected, if so can you try to unplug all parts of it?

If that is not the case, I'd need you to reach out to [email protected] or DM me on Discord for some deep diagnosis.

If you refer to the warning you received nearly two years ago, that was given for insulting other users, while everything else in your thread was fine and stayed.

In no case this has any relation to this topic, though, and hence should also not be brought up here. You can always reach out to ... Read more

The inspiration for settlements did more come from a mix of Civilization and Settlers than Victoria, but settlement to settlement diplomacy was indeed what we hoped to see on servers.

Yes - settlements feature is determined at world creation and changing afterwards is not supported, as the two systems are completely different and settlements off is a legacy option that won't get continued development. It's noted in the release notes of Update 10 as well. If you switched it at any point, the save is corrupted and only restoring a backup to the state ... Read more

That is the nature of old posts made years before the last update released.
Locking the topic to avoid further confusion.

You cannot turn settlements off for worlds that ever had it active and all worlds started via the game menu have it enabled - doing that will corrupt the world and lead to things being broken. Check this news on how to get claim papers for skill scrolls in singleplayer the intended way: ... Read more

Please improve your tone. That command is a QA command and not intended for player usage. You can restore a backup of your world to fix your issue, you can find those in steam/steamapps/common/Eco/Eco_Data/Server/Storage/Backups. Move the files applying to your savegame from before using the command to the Storage folder.

Every tuesday there is Steam maintenance, which will disconnect players from games that use steam connection manager. It typically only takes 5 minutes for Steam to update their services and everything working again.

You are just unable to kill as many animals as you need to beat the respawn, no matter how many people you have. It just doesn't work correctly currently.

We plan to release the update containing the fix this week, it is currently in public playtesting.

The issue only occurs when towns have their foundation deeds around specific coordinates, so moving away from the 0 border would also help and is the reason why only very few towns are affected.

If you play in singleplayer and use the recommended "NoCollaboration" preset, you will gain claim stakes and papers that can be used anywhere without needing a settlement when consuming skill scrolls as well - like it worked in Update 9.

In singleplayer you only need claims for your house to receive housing points and for some machinery like the sewage filter.

This might be due to you using a very old CPU not supporting newer instruction sets. There is a workaround in Update 10.0.5, available as a testing branch in the steam branches for the game (but not compatible with release servers). Does the same happen for singleplayer as well?

They won't. They are intended for development and QA purposes and are solely available for that, my statements above still stand.
