IC Events Organization on IGS

Organization of IC events for RP purposes on IGS is always welcome.

Posts organizing these events should be IC throughout as with any other post on IGS, with the following exception to the general rule against OOC posting on IGS:

IC/RP events announcement and organizing posts may have a short supplementary section that contains OOC details essential to the organization of the event that cannot be conveyed in IC terms.

IGS users should refrain from flagging the first post of an IC event announcement thread for OOC if it has such a section.

This is a privilege extended only to the event organizer in the original post of the thread. There are to be no OOC replies in whole or part on IGS.

If people have questions about the event that are OOC they should use the details provided by the organizer, or contact the organizer by PM/evemail/etc. If it’s necessary to have ...

Could you please try this a bit further? For me those shortcuts are working fine on the M1 (both MacMini and MBP). Are other shortcuts working correctly or are all broken? I know currently of one known issue with shortcuts, that with some language settings it is possible to break some shortcuts temporarily by pressing the key below the ESC key (as it triggers some kind of composition mode).

It would be great, if you could write bug reports about those issues, optimally from the client (F12 (or Help menu from Neocom) - Report Bug) - please include screenshots for the graphical glitches.

We have a potential fix for this already in the pipeline, which might come to Singularity with the next patch.

As workaround please try to reduce the graphical settings on the character selection screen, especially shader settings.

Could you please send an in-game bug report about those graphical issues? We are aware that GeForce cards are a bit problematic, but I have not seen this problem yet.

What are your system specs (mostly which GPU and which macOS version)? Please try to reduce your graphic settings and see if this helps. It would be great to know which setting caused the problem.

Thanks for the feedback. Sorry to hear that the experience so far hasn’t been good.
I’d really like to dig into it more, as the performance should be much much better than what you’re getting.

An easy thing to check is that it is running the new client: Press ‘Control + F’ and make sure it says ‘Metal’ at the bottom. This will ensure you’re on the correct client quickly.

Thanks for the feedback. Sounds like a corrupt file if a reinstall fixed it. When we do the migration to NMC, we’ll have some checking and verification of the files as part of the process.

Please do report the graphical issues using the in game tool so we can see the screenshots :slight_smile:

Hey!

We are unfortunately aware of a client crash at startup, when starting the client with fresh settings. This is happening, when the client is trying to play the intro movie.

For the case that your client is affected by this problem, you can copy your TQ settings to Singularity, which should work around this problem. Feel free to take a look at Profile Management Tool – EVE Online for how to do so.

I’m afraid you just missed it :frowning_face:. We did the mirror as close as possible to the playtest as we could, but there are always going to be accounts that just miss it.

Apologies, we have found an issue with the deployment. This means players will receive the Wine client currently.
