I can load up Rainbow Six Seige fine but when i load into a game it lets me pick my agent ect, but when im loading into drone phase or the actual map it freezes and goes black then crashes, this has been happening for a while now and i need a fix.

Hey Mental, definitely sounds like it could be a frustrating situation - just to be clear your crashing happened after you updated your game? Also is this on the TTS or the live server?

Try verifying you game's files if you haven't done that yet. Whenever I had that issue, verifying worked like a dream.

Thank you for reporting this to us.

Do you know if there were any changes to the system around when this occurred? Anything you installed or updated? Drivers that changed?

It may be that there's another program conflicting with the games on Uplay, as it's strange that it would have occurred at the same time.

We would certainly advise checking in the reliability history, to see if the crashes are logged there.

Sorry about that-- thanks for the crash files. Unfortunately the errors I’m seeing in your logs are different than those in the threads I’ve been replying to recently. We’ll look into it, of course.

Try repairing the game through Steam if you haven’t already, just in case.

Could you please specify when have you started experiencing the game crash and the error "Oh no, it crashed", did it happen after recent December 14th game update?
I understand you already tried to verify game files and reinstalled the game.

Please can you check through the steps in this article and see if there's anything you haven't tried yet, as we just need to rule out any of the most common causes of issues on PC first of all?

I'm sorry to hear your game is crashing during the training mode and you aren't able to run the game on higher graphics settings.

Please can you check through the steps in this article and see if there's anything you haven't tried yet, as we just need to rule out any of the most common causes of issues on PC first of all.

In order to try to fix this crash problem, I could invite you to perform all the steps from our troubleshooting guide. This will help creating an optimal environment on your system for your game. If the issue persists after these steps, could you tell us if the crashes happen when you're doing a specific action in game or standing at the same place for example? And if so, what are the actions or where is this specific place?

Let us know if these steps fixed the issue for you!

From what you say this must be a bug! Please make a new thread in Bug Reports, and attach those saves there for QA to look into.

I recommend verifying files, and if that doesn’t work. Uninstall the game, check the steam folder and delete any left over files, and then reinstall.

On the forums here a number of users found steam had resulted in corrupted download of game files, which caused crashes as described.

I would definitely raise a support ticket with Nvidia about that. That’s most likely a settings issue on their end. Note that GeForce now is a cloud service so we don’t have any control over how their service is configured.
