Have you tried verifying your game files to see if it fixes anything?
Now this is a bot I can get behind.
Just to avoid confusion, I may have made some temporary adjustments to the name until someone else can have a look.

I gave a response here that seems related Opinion: Levelling alts in Last Epoch is soul crushing - #86 by Reimerh_QArts
We do hear this feedback for sure. Dungeons don’t yet function well enough to make leveling up alts more enjoyable and an interesting experience. The bottom tier is just too hard to be a viable options for newer players (or even a lot of veterans) in terms of making the campaign different each time depending on which dungeons you choose. We’re also aware that at some point upgrading gear slows down, but it happens pretty fast to where getting upgrades takes a long time, which feels bad. So there are some curves we gotta smooth out perhaps.
No worries, glad I could help!
Sorry about this. Could you provide a player log from a session where you attempted to enter game on an offline character?
A possible fix may be to try verifying the integrity of game files. In your Steam library, right click Last Epoch → Local Files → Verify integrity of game files

Do you have any effects that might fall off when you attack or hit an enemy that could result in lower tooltip DPS afterwards, such as the critical strike chance provided by Gambler’s Fallacy?
Abyssal Echoes’s Freedom of Movement causes enemies that would apply Slow when hitting you to instead apply Haste when hitting you, for as long as Abyssal Decay is active on that enemy. It doesn’t cause Slow ailments that have been applied to that enemy to be converted into Haste on you.
