Interesting, in which case Ring of Shields is my new top suspect. The inconsistency makes this difficult to nail down, so any additional details about what might seem to cause the problem is appreciated.
If I immediately move my char, then there is zero chance of the quests appearing.
Do you mean moving your character right before selecting the echo, or immediately after it finishes loading? Or are you somehow able to move while it’s loading?
For those experiencing this: are you using Smelter’s Wrath, at least once during the play session?
Thanks for mentioning this thread elsewhere Vapourfire, I hadn’t seen this thread. So far Eagle’s tests have demonstrated that the issue appears to be specific to Smelter’s Wrath, but some additional confirmation would be good, since it’s a strange connection.
Does this mean there was no lag during that echo, and you were able to kill enemies on your way to the objective just fine, but then the objective boss was missing?
Thanks for the kind words. We really do have a great community around the game. I’ve also been absolutely hooked on the genre since Diablo 2 and am now living the dream of being at the helm of one! Cheers
No worries.
I am with you, and some of your points are valid, to be fair. I think what you are describing is an issue that is a larger issue in the industry and hobby. There are just too many games. Even in things like a niche genre, its REALLY hard for a game to break through the noise, and often times, something you would have absolutely jumped at, just doesn’t even make it to your radar until its too late.
Personal anecdote, I am a huge Tabletop Roleplayer. I’ve been GM’ing games for decades.
It’s really frustrating the amount of awesome Kickstarter, or early adopt programs I miss that I would have supported, simply because there are soo stinking many.
We are at a point with GenCon (for those of you who know), that its very easy to miss a great game, or multiple great games, simply because there are not enough hours in the day to take a look at them.

Hey folks - EHG_Steve here. I am the marketing person for Eleventh Hour Games and Last Epoch.
I wanted to pop in and address this because there are definitely multiple ways this can be interpreted, but it’s important to know what our goal/intent was as well.
First, it was absolutely our intent for the Travelers Backpack to be our way of saying Thank You to those who had supported us in previous years. We were coming off of the most extended delay between patches (with it having been a year between significant content updates), and we wanted to create something for the community that was specific and special to that community.
Second, there are those who would choose to pick up the game because of this special MTX, as it was the first time we had done something like this specifically. Pretty much anytime a company offers a thing, there are those who are going to want it. This is the reason we chose to advertise it. It was less about us wanting to create FOMO and ...

We haven’t deployed a patch with the fix yet, so it’s not available to players currently. Hopefully we’ll be able to get the patch out soon!
The 0.9c hotfix addressed the known issue of empowered timelines not unlocking in offline play. If this is still occurring for some people, we’ll need some information to help us figure out what’s going wrong:
Is the issue occuring in offline or online play?
At the center island, do the 3 indicators light up to show that you’ve completed the 3 requisite timelines?
When you approach the center island, does the camera pan over to the catalyst in the middle? If so, can you then walk over and click on that catalyst and receive the “empowered timelines unlocked” message? If the camera does not return control to you after it pans over the catalyst, that’s also valuable information.
Is the center catalyst accessible, or is the ground not formed around it, preventing access?
Does any of this change if you leave the Monolith of Fate and re-enter it?
Thanks!
Take the strength off my anchor and replace it with attunement and I leave a bad review.
Nah, I'll squeak it in on a new item.
Ya'll need to sprinkle some attunement here and there
On it. I'll add a few points of attunement to a random unique that looks out of place
Why does this thing have strength
Because I hate it when level 100 characters have 0 in an attribute category.
Cool, not sure how that happened.
It will end in a Shade eventually. If that node above were to be completed, it would likely reveal a Shade node after that.
