Thanks, I’ve confirmed this and we’ll look into it.

This is currently expected behaviour which will be changed in future.
Sorry about this! Can you upload the files mentioned here as a .zip? I can see a bit of an error message, but the files in the crash directory have more info.
So it happened on those gloves, could you do a quick little test for me to see if it always happens on those gloves or maybe after a set number of items being moused over? I don’t have a quick fix from that or the log unfortunately.
Remaking the thread isn’t necessary. I’ve been doing what I can to look into this and do have some ideas, but that’s about all I can say. I realize that you can’t really play the game right now, but any progress we can make on this is slowed down by the fact that we aren’t seeing this problem in our internal testing.
The Windows client only supports DX11, while OpenGL is used on Linux/Mac. We don’t have any plans to change this, largely due to the amount of testing/support overhead it could introduce. We don’t currently release any builds with Vulkan.
Moving thread from #bug-reports to #feedback-and-suggestions.
Thanks for the report!
If this is with a specialized Earthquake, could I please ask you for a screenshot of your specialization tree? The forum doesn’t accept image uploads, but you can post a link to Imgur.
Hey there,
Thanks for the kind words!
Could you please try the advice listed in Microsoft’s Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files support article?
If the issue persists, just let us know and we can troubleshoot further. In that case, I would ask you to please take a look at our ...

You can indeed: https://support.lastepochgame.com/article/160-steam-account-linking
Unfortunately I don’t see any information in the log file regarding what caused the freeze for you. We’ll do our best to look into it. Thanks!
I haven’t encountered any issues like this. If it happens again could you post screenshots and your log file? Thanks.
It looks like you haven’t installed the latest version of Last Epoch. We included a fix for crashes on AMD graphics cards in the latest version (0.7.8f), so you should update.
Make sure to open the game by running Launcher.exe, not Last Epoch.exe (which is in a subfolder next to Launcher.exe). This will start the patcher to ensure your game is up to date.
Sorry about this! It doesn’t seem like this is a crash we have investigated yet, so I don’t have any specific advice to offer at this time.
I would recommend trying to repair the game first to make sure the game’s files are intact.
Your saves are located in:
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\LocalLow\Eleventh Hour Games\Last Epoch\Saves
If those files were modified in the last day, then yea it was probably overwritten.
The game doesn’t delete saves on uninstall. The game files are actually identical on steam or stand alone. What I think happened is that the steam cloud saves kicked in at a very unfortunate time and overwrote the saves with blank ones. I could be wrong and it should ask you first.
Hey there!
It may be necessary to set Windows to Show Hidden Files for the AppData folder to be shown.
It should be possible to upload a DxDiag to the forum without compression.
Heyo,
Thanks for supporting us!
I’ve looked into this, and it seems you’ve already taken care of it. Please let us know if there’s any way we can help. Otherwise, there’s not much to say other than ‘happy gaming’!
Thanks for bringing it up, I’ll have a look before the next major patch.
Hello,
I see the following in your log file;
The file ‘D:/Jeux/steamapps/common/Last Epoch/Last Epoch_Data/resources.assets’ is corrupted!
Please try Repairing Last Epoch Through Steam.
Thanks. Based on the errors, it seems possible that a part of the download/install process failed. Could you try repairing the game?
