Hi there, sorry to hear this is happening to you. We have a very small OSX player base so sometimes obscure problems take a while to surface. Do you have a launcher.log file by any chance beside the epoch launcher that could be shared?

How’s your disk space looking? Plenty of room? Are you installing it on your main drive or a secondary drive?

Hi there, I’m not seeing a chat ban on your account or any failed log in attempts. Do you have a Player.log file that I could see to find an issue in? Are you still having the issue after closing the game fully and repoening?

Hi there, I’m just going to touch briefly on the music thing. We agree. We think the music is great but frequently plays music that is out of place. We have some sweet new tech that we just finished which will let us have way more control over what music is playing when. We have completely changed our entire music design process to go with this new toy. I don’t want to go into too much detail on it but it’s gonna be great!

Edit: couldn’t resist but the class locks extending the game lifespan never came up in the discussion to do that. I actually never even considered it until reading your post.

Hi there, sorry you’re having this problem. I’ve looked at your account here and it looks like you’ve successfully linked your steam account to it. I don’t have any failed log in attempts logged for you though. I’ll need a little more information to help you get this sorted.

Are you getting an error message? They should show up in vibrant red at the top and should look something like LE-123.

If not, we’ll need to get your Player.log file. Information on how to find that is available here:

The Celer Mortis node on Skeleton Mage is actually granting 3% base crit chance and isn’t scaling per point. For our next update it will correctly scale with points allocated and the tooltip will state the correct 3% per point. Sorry about that.

Using the actual 0.7.7f numbers your Mage’s crit chance is 40.3%, which seems in line with what you saw experimentally.

I’ve checked Ice Bite and it indeed does not multiply the damage, but the radius change and cold conversion seem fine.

I agree that it probably should be able to hit the same target with recasts so I’ll flag it for review internally. Thanks!

Those were just quick filler names I used when mocking up the panel. What you may be speculating on is the Lost Memories system that we haven't talked about in a long time. More info coming in the future :)

Hey Schrubber, reports like this break my heart - I know how frustrating that is. The team is working on some systems for 0.7.8 that should significantly reduce the risk of data loss. When we have the servers live and you make online characters this will hopefully never be an issue. Thanks for bearing with us and reporting the issue. I hope you get awesome drops when you log in next :slight_smile:

Hey all, we understand that this is an issue and this post has inspired me to schedule meetings at least quarterly to discuss ways to help with visual clutter. It’s definitely a challenging issue to solve but it can and should be mitigated as much as possible. Will follow this thread in case anyone has some million dollar suggestions.

It seems like the Idol itself isn’t working, rather than this being a problem specific to Drain Life. We’ll look into this, thanks!

Hey there,

When Affix Shards are in your inventory you can use the Store Crafting Items button to store them outside of your inventory and stash where they will be accessible to all characters you share your stash with (for example, Hardcore characters can’t access those found by non-Hardcore characters). Is this a feature you’ve been using?

If you’re intentionally not using this, could you tell us more about why? We’d be happy to look into making improvements here, but we’d like to better understand your use case.

Having multiple executable files would increase the testing required, but it wouldn’t double it.
