We are currently performing a pass over zones in Last Epoch to improve their lighting, replace some lower quality assets, and address some feedback that Chapter 1 feels a bit too ‘idyllic’.

Frozen Ire scales with level.
We don’t plan to transition to a system where all uniques (and set items and legendaries) scale with level, as that would negatively impact itemization due to there being many more clear-cut cases where builds have single, objectively Best In Slot pieces of equipment.

Sorry about the issue! We’re working on optimization with each patch, so hopefully this will be improved by our next patch. We’re aware of skills dropping FPS in some cases, but it’s rare that they cause that large of an FPS drop. If you post your log file after it happens again we can make sure there isn’t some other bug happening.
The actual game is exactly the same between Steam and the Standalone, how the game files are distributed to you is the only difference.
Is there a future plan to allow us to buy a larger supporter pack to sync with the Steam purchase? I'm so, so in on this game and I'd like to support by opening my wallet.
We're able to manually process upgrades if folks poke us about them. :)
Currently we're unable to perform these transactions through Steam. I can't say for certain whether that'll change in future. We recognize - and value! - the large number of payment methods supported by Steam and the convenience that results from such broad support, but there isn't currently a great way for us to offer this through Steam.

So, there's been a few demos we've discussed thus far;
The original demos have been retired as they're very significantly outdated by now. We haven't yet released the demo referenced in Phase 1 of our Early Access Forecast, as we're currently working to update our game engine, and having the game and the demo using different versions would complicate our ability to later update the demo if needed.

It looks like your laptop has both an SSD (drive C), and a HDD (drive D) installed.
Unless I’m mistaken, it appears that the game is currently installed onto the slower HDD. Would it be possible to try moving the game over to the SSD and see whether that fixes it?
Sorry about the issue! Looking at your log file, the game seems to be running out of memory during the startup process. I would recommend restarting your computer and closing any unnecessary applications. Then, when you open the game, avoid interacting with it until it’s fully loaded.
If the issue persists, please upload your crash report(s) from C:/Users/Wenhao/AppData/Local/Temp/Eleventh Hour Games/Last Epoch/Crashes, as indicated by your log file.
We are working on optimization with each patch, but unfortunately these issues do happen sometimes.
I'm guessing that the listed shock chance is only showing your global shock chance for both melee and ranged. So if you would get an item that gives a 50% chance to shock on any hit, that field would show 50%, and melee hits would have a 85% chance.

Sorry about this! We’re aware of the issues with the current system and plan to improve it soon. In addition, all multiplayer characters will definitely be stored server-side once that is released.
I’m not aware of this being a widespread issue, so we’ll need more information to look into this unfortunately.

Open the settings menu, and in the Challenges tab there'll be a button to deactivate the Solo challenge for that character.
You should get a confirmation window which explains what exactly will happen - please do be sure to read that first. :)

Sorry about this! If you have Last Epoch on Steam I would recommend trying to repair the game if you haven’t already.
The log file indicates a crash report was saved at C:/Users/SEANRE~1/AppData/Local/Temp/Eleventh Hour Games/Last Epoch/Crashes, please upload that as well.
I noticed your character’s reached the End of Time. Did you play up until the End of Time without issue? Did you play an older version of Last Epoch in the past and now you’re having this problem after coming back?
Thanks. The log file confirms that the game is rapidly switching between your keyboard and mouse and joystick. This is a known issue and we are working on a fix, but for now the best option is to leave the joystick unplugged.
