Thank you very much for the reports!

We have reproduced this issue internally and I have posted about it here. I hope you don’t mind, but I’ll lock this thread just so that we have a single place in which to provide updates that all affected players can keep an eye on. We’ll get this fixed up as soon as we can.

We have been receiving and investigating reports of chat unreliability since the release of our latest game update, Patch 0.7.3. We have reproduced this issue internally and expect that it will require a patch to address. I don’t yet have an ETA for a solution.

We would like to thank you for the reports and apologize for the inconvenience. While we aren’t currently requesting additional information to help us look into this, I’ll post an update if that changes. We appreciate your patience as we investigate this.

Thank you!

I saw a similar report and wanted to compare your .ini file with the one provided by the other player. They don’t bear the same symptoms, so the two issues look to be unrelated.

Due to us launching the patch yesterday and it being the weekend (our bad, of course) we’re in an information-gathering stage and I’m not yet certain whether this would be something we can troubleshoot or would require a game update to address. I’ll keep you posted.

Thank you very much for the detailed report and included files.

I’m looking at your graphics .ini file and seeing the following;

Screen Resolution=Error
ScreenMode=Error

I strongly suspect this is related to the issues you are experiencing.

It may be worth renaming this file to le_graphicsmanager.old while the game client isn’t running so that a new one will be generated the next time you run the game. Could you please try this, and then post the new graphics .ini file for us?

While I suspect this is not caused by security software, I would greatly appreciate it if you would take the time to flag the game as a trusted application just so we can conclusively rule that out.

I am sincerely sorry if you did not receive a response.

We’re a small team and try to be as active on the forum as we can be, however unfortunately there are periods of time in which some members of the team might be unavailable.

I would make that point that uploading the file takes less than a minute. Troubleshooting technical issues does require that the person with an issue be willing to work with us - if this is not the case, then all I can say is that I apologize for the issue you are experiencing, and I do hope that a future game update improves the situation for you significantly.

Due to the possibility of external factors (software conflicts, overheating hardware, etc) playing a role in a game’s framerate, we cannot offer assistance in cases whether the player is not prepared to troubleshoot with us. Feel free to post a new thread if this changes.

We’ve been working on a new mouse cursor, however the work wasn’t finished in time for Patch 0.7.3. I’m not yet able to offer an ETA, but I wouldn’t expect it to take too much longer.

A quick google search (https://www.google.com/search?q=yolomouse+crashes+game) suggests that the program has caused the same issue for other games in the past.

Some initial questions I would have are;

  • Have you tried right-clicking on Yolomouse and running it as an administrator?
  • According to Yolomouse’s website, it offers both “basic cursors” and “overlay c...

Thanks for the report!

Could you please attach your Graphics .ini file to a new post in this thread?

A fix for this was included in 0.7.3-- please let us know if you run into further issues.

Thanks, I’ve made a note of this.

Could you post a screenshot of your passives to an image hosting site? I tried a few combinations and was able to remove points successfully.

Thanks, we believe that the issue has been identified, but we haven’t determined the exact fix. This appears to only be an issue on MacOS related to compression changes we made in 0.7.3, potentially Macs specifically with AMD graphics.

If you’re able to force your computer to use the integrated Intel graphics rather than the AMD ones that would help us confirm that-- internally one of our team members was able to run the game without issue on their Macbook (with Intel graphics).

That seems to be working correctly. When you have the Embers node enabled the fireballs are cast right after one another, so if you have additional projectiles they can blend together. It’s hard for me to see from a still image, but you should be able to see parts of the fire stream which are brighter than others.

Here’s a clip, let me know if you saw anything different (particularly before taking Embers).

You can, you’ll just need to invest a 21st point first. Then when you respec, you will still have 20 points in Acolyte, and meet the requirements for your Necromancer nodes.

I’m not able to reproduce this issue, I get extra projectiles when I take the node. Could you upload a picture of your skill tree and items to a site like imgur.com, and upload your log file?

Thanks!

How many points do you have invested into Acolyte? All of your Necromancer points rely on the points you put into Acolyte, so you need to have 20 points in Acolyte after the refund occurs.

I realize that this isn’t too clear in game, I’ll see what we can do to make it explained better (i.e. displaying points past 20 on base classes, better tutorials/tooltips).

Thanks, this will be fixed for next patch.

Hm, I’m seeing them teleport. Just to confirm, they’re the skeletons with hoods, and leave a black smoke trail when they teleport.

Could you post your skill tree if you’re still having issues?
