Hey guys, I like a spirited discussion so I figured I would poke my head in and possibly very foolishly get sucked in haha. General disclaimer: this is all still very malleable and will change.

You’ve all got really good points and I think that it’s really important to know that so many of these systems work together to make the whole experience and it’s really hard to judge how it’s going to be from what is there now.

I think that the scenario that @Korinokiri is trying to avoid will end up happening to some extent only in the standard league. I think that most players will not really play standard league very much. I’m using PoE terms for the characters which get moved to a long term mode after a new league/season.

The restrictions for loot trading with randoms in a party may end up being very similar to D3. If you’re all playing together and you drop an item, you should be able to share it with your fellow party members. The primary action that we are attempting to restrict is going to a website, buying an item for $5, going in to game and someone gives it to you.

Could you try observing the game’s memory consumption over time? Knowing what your memory usage is right when the game starts will be helpful. Does the amount of memory go up just over time, even if nothing is happening? Does it go up (permanently) when you use a skill? Does it go up when you change zones, even if you run back and forth?

Knowing any particular locations or skills involved helps too.

I know that’s a lot of questions, but the more information we can collect about this, the better we can address it!

Hi everyone,

If you haven’t tried the new 0.7.0e patch please do so! If you have an older CPU (2011 and before) this issue should now be resolved.

If your error message was related to memory then it may not be fixed yet. We are working on solutions for this as well, but it is an entirely separate issue from the one we released with 0.7.0e.

If you’re still having issues please upload your log file and any crash information that is mentioned at the end of it.

Hi! Xbox one controllers should be working out of the box without issues, you should be able to fire up the game and move the cursor with the right stick. If not, what kind of x1 controller are you using? How is it connected?

Vengeful Souls is working for me-- Can you screenshot your Hungering Souls tree?

The Lichskin issue is a known bug-- you can cast manually once after entering a new zone.

I’m sorry. I see where the confusion is coming from, that’s my bad. I would focus a little more on the “up to” part of the description. The plan is to have the game be fun and exciting with anywhere from 1-5 people in the game at a time.

I’m unable to reproduce this using Manjaro on a system with a Ryzen 7 1700 & Vega 56. It has a comparatively older 4.19 kernel, but I’d assume that this isn’t the cause - if for no other reason than we only have a single person reporting this problem.

See if Steam verifying the cache helps at all. Given some of your past activities relating to a GitHub repo, I’m not sure if we can support your installation of the standalone client.

Do you happen to have another partition you could test on?

@GingerNation and @kiss_me_quick I’m not sure where you read that. I think you might have not quite understood Kyle’s intended post. We don’t have plans for bosses which are only doable in group play. We do have plans for bosses to maybe change in group play to have more mechanics to keep things interesting instead of just increasing the numbers. We do want it to be possible to play through the end game content and get the gear you want in a solo self found mode.
