We appreciate everyone watching and hear your feedback about the drop rates and how the drops were communicated. We did enable a lot of drops but of course not everyone got one and I understand that feels bad.
I believe this is our first time doing something like this specific to an actual theme and themed skins so we really will take a look at this for the future and try to improve. The broadcast was a lot of fun today and it felt great to have an awesome tailgate for the fans in person and try to get a bit creative with the broadcast. Is that the ability we were shown earlier, or a different one? Also could you tell us if he is going to be a battle mage more like Anivia and Cassiopeia, or more like Swain and Vladimir? I.e. more of a late game DPS mage or a late game drain tank?

/u/Reav3 I don't want to rush to conclusions ... but.. aurelion sol have in the kit only skills that characterize his being a dragon (which is cool but he is not only a dragon), the idea of letting him scale in late (maybe for his passive) as a feature of being a divinity, besically, AND just a black hole on the ground as a feature of his being the creator of the universe.... Meh... Even if we don't know 1 skill, the kit synergies only with q w, and it's actually horrible as a thing. Standing still for do a rumble q... U can do better no? Should I expect something cool? I really love ASOL, and i love what u do. i don't lose hope. Your recent reworks are so good... Pls don't rush my ASOL, take your time. Please

We filmed at the end of June, so months is kinda right if you go by months but date-wise it was about a month and 2 weeks!
That seems reasonable. Phroxzon tweet made it sound like it was filmed in the beginning of the year.
When Reav3 says in the beginng "for some reason they choose me to talk about all of LoL this time" is that something that comes from Reav3 or do you carefully place each individual word onto his lips? Or is that something he chooses as introduction in step 4?
Because it sounds genuine but seems like everything is planned.
Thanks Phroxzon lol. Ya tbf when we started the process it was months since scripting and prep work is probably another 4 weeks. But the filming was about 6 weeks ago.
Reav3 writes his own scripts. And we were kind of trying to imply that he has his new role of Lead Producer of Gameplay (sorry I don't remember if this is 100% the correct title now).
In previous videos he was always Lead Producer of Champions, but he got a promotion this year to this new role so he oversees all of League gameplay initiatives including Champions team! So he was implying that now he doesn't just get to talk about champions, but ALL of League.

I am not a League dev. I don't make the game. So I have no idea what the teams are working on until I talk to them. The process is:
Talk to League leadership to understand a high level view of what we want to talk about. (This is a week or so to account for schedules and PTO.)
Reach out to the development teams themselves to fill in the details. This takes a pretty big chunk of our time because we want to make sure we're not too disruptive of their time. For example Phroxzon is the lead on Summoner's Rift Team, and his team does active game balance, Preseason, midscopes, and they write stuff like Quick Gameplay Thoughts and Patch Notes. They're busy folks and I gotta give them space to do their jobs!
My fellow writers and I get started actually writing the thing. We take everything the devs give us and put it into a script that sounds cohesive, coherent, and has ...

As a person of color who grew up with virtually zero media representation, I insist on buying this new tank within the first week and mastering it ASAP.

Hey Reav3, i wanted to ask you about Aurelion Sol - What are you looking for him to be?
I really, really prefer the battlemage version of him, but either way, it'd be nice to know what kind of champion at least Riot looks for him (and anyone else) to be. I understand that you are trying things out, but what is the more specific direction?
Because i've seen his playerbase split into Battlemage/Roamer (with anecdotal evidence more preferring the former), and i am not really sure with this presentation what he is intended to be.

Hey Reav3, could you potentially share what kind of weapons were used as inspiration for K'Sante's weapons? The name given seems to be a new one with no real world counterpart so I am having trouble imagining what they could look like and what that would mean for him. If that's something that we will just have to wait and see for that's cool too.
