I read it as, some rioters are trying to see if they can get the rewards but the official statement is no rewards.
This is the official statement, we are working to get participants their rewards.

So, it's based off normals, not ranked? That would explain some of the more extreme mismatches.
Correct.
There is a far greater overlap between Normals players and UltBook than there is Ranked players and UltBook.
Exactly bro! I feel u. Same happened to us. I tried sooooo hard to at least convinced 2 of my friends to go for clash. We are low elo so they didnt see us winning. Unexpectedly we won two round and nearly won final. So excited to get rewards specially it was our first clash but it seems riot is saying we wasted our time and effort. Really f**king frustrating
Sorry, that is a really rough experience for your first clash :(. We're working to get ya those rewards.
Waiting for the "Riot planted this bug so they could pretend to not care then fix it so they can say 'see we're listening'" conspiracy post.
idk if I'd have a job if I suggested we do something like this lol
Hey everyone, we've been looking into the problems with Clash over the weekend and are working to compensate those affected. There are two different things going on here - some folks had their tournaments or games fail to start, in which case they should automatically had their ticket refunded. Separately, people who did complete their Clash brackets either didn't receive rewards or might've been double rewarded. If you received double rewards those will be left alone, and if you didn't receive rewards we're trying to get those to you soon.
To clarify the player support response, it's suggesting that if you weren't able to complete a tournament due to an outage, you wouldn't receive rewards that you didn't earn. That's the default policy, but some of what happened here was different: players completed brackets but weren't rewarded for them, which is a different error. This was an unusual circumstance, and often when something like this happens player support isn't pre-empow...

If you've never played the mode before, it will seed an initial MMR based on your existing normals MMR, but it's allowed to drift after that.
When the mode was first released, this configuration was missing. But that was corrected and reseeded even for folks that did play in that window. That first weekend last year though was rough.
But, if your ranked and normals has drifted, the system doesn't detect / handle that well. So, you can sometimes get folks who have climbed significantly on Ranked, but that never got reflected in their initial UltBook seeding. Fortunately, currently, that drift seems to be a fairly low percent.
You must laugh a whole lot then.
I do. It’s great. I love the LCS team. They’re great to be around.
Lol at "Objective bounties are available soon" at the end. I'm not surprised!
It has nothing to do with fake vendetta, you idiot. It has entirely to do with you childishly namecalling people on stream like an immature idiot. Do you really think it's acceptable or in any way professional for you to call someone "an idiot" on live broadcast? How would you feel if a player went on the analyst desk and called you an idiot?
If I did something really idiotic? I'd laugh along with them.
Might be just me, but it really feels like Phreak criticizes Fudge far more than anyone else. He really really harps on his mistakes.
I am prolly gonna stop watching games he casts of Fudge. It could be all in my head, but I swear whenever he does he insults Fudge in some way, although this was the most blatant one yet.
His top lane return debut was 1v9 on Fiora and I did nothing but praise how hard he tried to keep his team in the game.
Do you think it would have had less backlash if it was some kind of phrase like "int" instead of just the blunt "idiot?"
Yeah I think if the phrase was, "...Just press tab, bro!" this thread wouldn't exist and the joke would be nearly identical.
Those "casters" in that first clip are ex-professional players, and didn't start their career watching from the sidelines like Phreak did. Phreak has never been at the level of the players he's vehemently bashing for fun, but you can go ahead and jump through as many mental hoops as you want to show how uneducated you are.
"So, you can go ahead and apologize for having no idea what you're talking about."
Try more than just a google search to try and prove you're right. just because you can type a sentence into a search engine doesn't mean you're correct when you don't even understand the context you presented. K?
I've literally been rank 1 and won League tournaments before most of these players even touched the game lmao. I've played at world championships in multiple different games.
You can go ahead and apologize for having no idea what you're talking about.
That's fine if you want boring casting to each their own. I like when players get called out for being stupid though.
Every other sport in the world has boring casting I guess…
Nothing lol phreak still thinks fudge is the best top in lcs
He is.
For what it's worth, this was meant mostly as a joke. I respect Fudge greatly as a player but this was definitely an int.
Should I have chose different wording? I'm not sure. I feel like most people would laugh alongside and not invent some fake "Phreak hates Fudge" vendetta.
Ha! Nice catch. One of these items is the "fully unlocked" permanent Eternals and the other is a shard that requires OE to unlock. I suspect that all permanent Eternals items have that same typo.
Why thank you! Glad you're enjoying the event.
This is my application to join the world's song.
I remember running Rell R back before the stat boosts. The scaling on it seems nutty, but for some reason it just doesn't work.
My gut tells me Amumu + Nunu ults are a terrifying combo, though who has them is the question
Amumu with Nunu ult appears to be.... Amumu's 11th strongest ult. And the actual winrate is fairly low in terms of strongest ults. Sitting at about a solid 15% lower than the strongest combo's winrate.
Best users of each ult tends to always be a bit surprising. For example, Nunu ult has Karthus and Quinn in its top 3 users.
My brain broke. Completely broke.
