hello barackprobama, i desperately need your help. I have basically completed all the challenges (Im currently #2 in the world for most challenge points), but there are a few that are bugged that I cannot progress. One of them is the Best Friend Forever challenge. For most people, this challenge is stuck and will not progress when they play with a new team of 5. Recently, people noticed they are able to progress the challenge again with a team so I started a new team to grind BFF, and it is progressing for everyone on the team except for me. Could your team please look into fixing it? The dream team challenge is also bugged too, probably same mechanism. i also think ill be able to provide valuable insight to help the team fix this stubborn bug

Appreciate you reaching out. This is something we can look into after winter break! No one is working right now though. Sorry that some of these are bugged.

Enjoy the holidays and thanks for playing!

Praise be to the Aspects for creating Runeterra and Summoner's Rift.

As others have said I don't think the two are mutually exclusive, but my answer is that it depends on what aspect of the game. For example with champion choices, I almost exclusively stick to what I find "fun" instead of picking for winrate, but if we were talking about Role selection I might tend to focus more on what I think will best help me win (Mid) rather than what I think is more fun (Support). That's not even getting into the actual in-game decision points and the small nuances within those.

I can win against tanks as Shaco by going on-hit instead of AP. Last game I did 90k damage, melting the 15k HP Cho'Gath with BotRK/Hellfire/Guinsoo's/Cleaver/Hydra/Kraken. I also rolled some great augments like Symphony of War, Lightning Strikes, and Thread the Needle, but several other augments would work well too like Twice Thrice, Erosion, and Deft.

(Side note: please stop banning Shaco. According to LoLalytics, he's the second most banned champion, and the eighth worst by win rate. There are much better bans! I just want to play my main!)

I agree! There are still a couple VGUs that probably needs to get done. But they are also ones that aren't THAT much upsides (ex Corki).
There are some VUs/VgUs that we SHOULD invest into that do also require time as we get deeper understanding/world building to figure out what things mean in Runeterra (ex Shaco and what are demons).
For some, its just not the right time yet. For others, its more that there are some quick wins that need the folks!
The more skins a champion has, the more work we need to put in...so it's always a trade off. But in any case, more info in the new year :D

Definitely not. I am actually investing more heavily into modes team for next year. The team has more ambitious goals for next year then this year.

There's a bunch of rioters moving away from other games into this new League project, I wonder what it'll be, but it sounds big

Who says theirs only one?

It's only a tooltip bug. Going directly to the WW tooltip (opening the book first) shows the right values, and casting it gives the buffed values.

HOW are they shocked that VGUs bring less engagement than new champions if they've been exclusively updating champions like Skarner, Udyr, Mundo for the last 3+ years???

Incorporating more popular champs means we have more players to lose and upset when we change the champion they love the most.

Yep, I want the rewards and that's it. Honestly, why do people want the missions to become a chore rather than simply just being rewarded for playing the game. Players login to play the game, not do random side chores.

I called out that for some players this is a core thing, and it seems like you're one of them! One observation I might make is that it's pretty important for us to not generalize a single group of people's experiences to all people. League is played by many many millions of people and there are few single obvious elements that connect them all.

So if you say it's important to you, I believe and support that.
If you say "players..." you begin to lose me.

But dw, we gotchu
