Does 100T Meteos have the same opinion?

dunno. but since he, like me, benefits from the continue success of league, I can't see why he would be upset with the designer of some of the most popular champions in league.

This should be obvious, but I think its so outlandish that ppl often don't realize - yasuo probably single handedly gets more play hours than a large majority of all games ever made.

Does the balance team have the same opinion?

Glad the two of you are having fun! CertainlyT makes cool champions.

Why did I read this in your voice?

I'm not sure, but it's a very common effect!

Science knows, but I don't.

I don't think he'll ever join C9 though unless they have some real bad times ahead of them and are desperate.

If he ever plays for C9A would it count? That's the only possible (although unlikely) scenario I could fathom.

Damn. Dardoch might actually end his career on every single team.

Is this silly? Yes.

Is the idea that Dardoch is somehow on a sidequest to be the only player in LCS history to ever play for every single team unbelievably alluring as a narrative?

Oh yes.

At some point, achieving something no one has ever done before is very tantalising for anyone. I doubt it will happen much like others, but I also somehow want this to happen very badly.

I get that this predictable skin line rotation smoothes things out for Riot but don't you think it's time for some new themes?

One of our major efforts right now is developing new themes. Mecha Kingdoms was our first of this year but there are more coming. ;)

Senna is a Legendary and Irelia as an Epic.

Is Senna easy to play in ranked? I've been spamming Yuumi for the last 6 months but I might swap to Senna for this skin.

Hey, Sharjo.

Excellent, excellent stuff. I hope you know you have my admiration.

Though, obviously as more of a Nasus than a Renekton, Renekton burning down the library is more than just a 'spat'. Not cool, little crocobro, not cool.

Also that's vicious libel about Veigar. He is evil. ;)

(I know you hit the character limit. I'm just joshing.)

Bio.

It might be a little different for a rioter because you have the name brand power that gets people to notice, but for me once you get into a thread an hour or so late the only way to get a discussion started is to ride one of the top comments. Reddit threads very much have an early bird gets the publicity problem.

Also I don't remember how bad the boards got, but feedback on reddit is almost exclusively negative and usually not constructive (90% of them are essentially 'this is what a champion does phrased in a way to make them sound op, so where nerfs) so it's hard to come in and say something meaningful every time.

I think a lot of it is spillover from the boards, I'd imagine a lot of those posters are now making threads on reddit instead.

For me, part of it is that I need to be in the thread almost immediately when it goes up. After a thread has been sitting for a while, there's not too much point posting, especially since you have to be extremely careful with what you say. That's mainly because things you say get dredged up again years later or snipped out of context. The other thing is to consider the value that I could add to a conversation. When it's primarily a complaint post, there's usually not much to add outside of "I acknowledge your post and read it".

I could be remembering wrong but generally we don’t post new content onto Reddit. Rioters are happy to chat and answer questions but I know I want convos to come from players who don’t work here first :)

Random question: Why are these in reverse order? I only learned about this story today, and it does seem like it would be weird for the third through fifth parts to come in reverse as well (particularly given that the story doesn't feel like one where more important details get revealed in the past).

The latest parts are posted at the top first, while the rest get moved into chronological order. The idea was so anyone who came to find the story from the client or see the latest didn’t have to scroll to find it.
