Obviously I don't work for Jagex any more, but I can give some insight.

In order to do this properly Jagex would need to remake a whole load of assets, last time they did this it took a team of artists and developers 12 months plus to do it. Having this toggleable would also mean there would be an increase in the amount of work needed for each update (eg making sure everything works in both options) which will slow down how quickly updates will be delivered.

Of course, if there is a technological solution (ie something clever that just makes it work) then I am sure Jagex will snap it up. However every attempt to improve the graphics with this method has hit one of two problems, firstly the z-buffering issue (the graphics processor deciding which parts of a model appears in front or on top of another part of the model) is not professional enough to be used as a commercial product and/or the amount of processing power needed to be used requires a super high end PC.

Nope, it's separate entirely. Like in my earlier comment you could buy the Summer Special and request a refund for the 'normal' 3 months of membership you have (assuming you haven't used most of it).

You don't have to wait - membership always stacks. You could buy the Summer Special and then you'll have four months of membership, meaning that it won't automatically renew for another four months.

If cash is tight then here's what I'd do. I'd buy the Summer Special, and then ask for a refund for the month that just automatically renewed.

When you say RuneScape main page, do you mean OSRS page?

Since we don't have translations for OSRS, what can be happening is that your runescape.com is in Spanish (which is where you are redirected to for logins), but your oldschool.runescape.com is in English.

Hey all. I'm going to tag everyone that had mentioned having this issue in this thread. Here are some ways this could happen:

- Your browser language is set to another language

- You might be accessing our websites through a VPN location that uses that language

- You might have at some point clicked a RuneScape link from that language which saves that option as default

If it's none of the above it's likely something on our side, and we need you guys to give us more details so we can investigate further.

Adding the time/ total level restriction is to help the anti-cheating team and the system catch them before they get to BH.
