Anyone else feel super squishy after this patch? I feel like I am either dying way to quick or my weapons aren't doing the same damage.

Also, the new item tag keeps showing after every death after clearing it on all of my items in my backpack.

**Edit- looks like it was a bug and they’ve already fixed it. It seems to have gone back to normal.

**Edit 2 - Sorry - new tag issue still going on. I meant just the armor issue was "fixed" in the above edit

We're aware of this and will resolve it with an imminent maintenance - sit tight!

I would be more than happy to grind for my gear back if I could play on said character. Xbox gamer tag:RATSxRHINO. Character name: f**kyMcf**kf**k (great name, i know)

The reason those affected characters encounter the cannot connect issue is because they have no items in their equipped slots. So to fix them, we have to give them equipment one way or another.

The game does have ingame warnings prior to the maintenance - which platform are you on and how long did you play without seeing a maintenance warning?

We want to ensure the successful deployment of the patches before sharing patch notes - if the patch somehow gets stuck on a platform and doesn't deploy properly, the already released patch notes will create additional confusion.

Also what about that bug that randomly locks game to 60 fps, mainly after cutscenes? Happening since DEMO.

See patch notes:

Fixed an issue that could cause the game to lock the player to 60FPS until the player opened the menu.

Fixed a bug whereby cutscenes would lock to 60FPS, even if the player had selected a higher framerate.

Other improvements to FPS

Hello Outriders,

We have just released a significant patch for Outriders. More on that further below.

As you will know, we’ve been spending a lot of time on our Character and Inventory restorations process. It has been hard to provide an exact date on its go live date so far, mainly because it has hovered on the very threshold of releasing for some time, but a small number of edge cases have forced us to reiterate and retest the process several times over. The greatest difficulty we’re facing in particular relates to giving characters the correct item levels, as item levels are calculated using three different variables: Character level, highest unlocked World Tier and highest completed Challenge Tier. The complexity of these three variables together on individual affected characters is taking some time for us to get right. Our tests indicate that restoring higher level gear than they should have leads to further character corruption, so we are not able to ...

You can clear the folder without worry.

Hello everyone,

This is a bit of a refresh of the previous Known Issues thread as the previous thread may have become confusing over time as it's title was focused specifically on the launch period.

This thread may well get updated over time.

We wanted to share a brief update on where things stand at on Friday 23rd of April:

  • Inventory Wipe & Character Restoration (...

I find that I often die with an active shield when I use Perseverance Shield.

The glitch is that the Perseverance mod's damage reduction buff doesn't correctly end, meaning it can provide a permanent buff instead of a temporary one, leading to a permanent uptime for the Golem effect.

It is a fairly clear bug as the tool tip indicates that it should only extend the abilities up-time by a certain amount, not permanently.

Also quickly for reference, on mobile most of your comments are so buried in the responses I never see them and it can get frustrating opening huge trees of responses to find what y'all are saying. Other gaming subreddits I've seen have bots that will post in any topic when a developer responds to highlight where it is/what it says. I think this would also help communication issues.

Hey there, thank you for the extensive details and pictures! I can confirm that the known Perseverance & Golem issue is listed as fixed for the next patch.

For the issue you're specifically reporting, we are investigating this, but could you perhaps provide a screenshot album or a short recording of all your gear including mods and your skill tree? Please also show the gear/mods you switch to/from.

Having this information will be helpful to the team to replicate exactly your setup, down to where various mods are slotted in order to try and reproduce your issue.

PS: What platform is this on?

EDIT: Please also make sure to share your resistance stats when your blocked damage is low/high!

I really do think a lot of the posts in there can honestly just be removed though or taken out at least, there's a lot of old and frankly outdated stuff in there such as regarding the demo that just clutter it up.

I've been in way too many game subreddits (especially at launch) and the, I guess I'd almost say normalized format? Is to have one "issues or support" megathread stickied at the top of the sub so it's the first thing everyone sees, that lists all of the current issues and provides links to support, places to report player issues, suggested fixes and whatever else. Unfortunately humans are lazy with short attention spans so even getting them to tap into the mini list of dev posts is a lot for some people.

Honestly that alone would go a...

Thanks for the feedback! Our known issues and tracking thread was indeed stickied for over two weeks after launch and it contains exactly all the links that you were looking for.

Known issues, Status pages, support links, etc.

Very much understand that the title including "Launch info" might have been confusing though.

It should have remained stickied, but Reddit only allows two stickies at a time, so I believe it was rotated out when the sub-reddit team implemented the daily mega-threads, which are designed to prevent thread duplications as was happening a lot.

It's probably a good time now to do a refresh of known issues thread and also remind folks here of what my actual intent was when I replied in the various threads.

Perhaps I'll look into archiving most of the collection content into a separate collection. The reason I have all that info and those threads in the collection is to remind people that we ARE communicating and doing so...
