COMMUNITY APPRECIATION PACKAGE LATEST NEWS:

We will deliver the Community Appreciation Package after the Inventory Restoration process has been completed.

Additionally, we would like to confirm that we are looking at doing something similar for anyone who was affected by the wipes and has had their items restored as part of our restoration process.

*Further Details on the Restoration Process:

While we understand that the following information can quickly become a bit confusing, we did want to share it here to better explain the complexity of this issue as well as any minor restoration quirks you may encounter.

  • Restoring inventories is unfortunately not a simple “restore from backup” process.
  • The process for running this restoration actually involves analysing every Outriders player profile in existence and scanning it for possible inventory corruption. Affected characters’ item histories are then cross-referenced against our analytics metrics, which in turn inform us which items were lost.
  • Group A
    • The rules we are using to identify most (but not all) inventory wipe cases are as follows:
      • Our database can conclusively tell us whether a player has an invalid inventory by checking whether they have an item in all equipment slots.

Why are you removing any content from this community subreddit? An NDA is to prevent a party from disclosing confidential information. Once that information is in the wild, your NDA has no bearing on whether or not it belongs on social media.

This subreddit specifically has a "no leaks" rule.

Furthermore, your argument doesn't apply if the the people breaking the NDA are specifically doing so here on Reddit, as they were doing previously.

This is the main sub, but a few people were put off because a few mods here work for Square Enix. I personally don't post in this one, outside of replies, because I don't like Subs where the Devs/Publisher have any control over what can be posted.

Not saying any of the mods are silencing anyone, there are valid complaint threads here that stay up etc. I've just seen some shit-shows in the past where the sub for a game was rainbows and sunshine only because the Devs (who were mods) deleted any criticism, so I avoid those when I can.

Thanks for the tag - looking at your video it looks like an internal cooldown on the mod might be at play here - hence the effect triggering on your first kill, but not on kills immediately after that.

Can you confirm whether this might be the case?

Once I have that info, it'll be easier to pass on to the team.

It would be more consistent if you fight off everything in an area except one enemy and then compare how many attacks it takes that last one to kill you.

This would actually be very helpful to us. I've triple checked with the teams and nothing has been intentionally changed, buffed or nerfed in the last 7 days.

If someone is able to provide a current 1 to 1 comparison of this happening today along with their (Steam?) user ID, we'd be much better able to look into this.

As it is, nothing on our metrics is indicating that anything has changed, bearing in mind that this telemetry spans all players, whereas what is be reported here could be more anecdotal.

Step by Step, the more detail the better: - at the outriders camp, i tried to join a random team. while in the loading screen, it took a very long time to load up, like freezing up. after a few minutes the game took me back to te home screen with the message "can't connect to host". after that message, i saw my character with no gear on. not knowing to close the game, i tried to join the game on my own, party closed. i spawned in, but after seconds i get greeted with the message "can't connect to servers".
