I've stopped playing ranked, I'm at diamond/plat 3, and it seems that every time i play, im DDOSsed or playing against blatant cheaters, this game is supposed to be an esport, and yet i resort to having to play, ESL vs or casual.

Why do we have to use 3RD PARTY anti cheat to have a fair match, and even then, the enemy team are able to DDOS people becuase you make our IP's public.

I get that mistakes in programming happen, but this is a DESIGN flaw, what where you thinking?!?! How are you going to address the problem of other people getting our IP and DDOSsing us?

was playing ranked vs a diamond with 0.4k/d, he was worse than a silver, yet he wins every game cus he DDOSes his opponents, he is over level 100, and clearly not a diamond player, but he gets the wins and the rank up, and ubisoft has done NOTHING about it.

I'm already in the habit of recording ALL of my games, but the current system of reporting is utterly non-existent

Hey AVENGER.FURY.B7! This forum is for English posts, but you can find French forums here. It looks like you're trying to report a player, which you can do by creating a ticket.

Hey Ozrneus,

Thanks a lot for reporting this, in the future i'd recommend to contact us via our support site (https://support.ubi.com/) or our Facebook/Twitter Ubisoft support pages as it is against the forum rules to name and shame other players here.

If you have any footage, please send this to us at the locations I previously listed and I apologise you experienced this in-game! If you all reported him in-game though that will help

Hey J.rE, thanks for reaching out!

I appreciate you passing along the details of this player, I have removed them but recorded them.

I will pass this information to our securities team for investigation. Please note, we can only communicate the outcome to the sanctioned player.

I hope you continue to enjoy the game!

Hey there Drone.Cadhi,

Thank you for the screenshots! It does sound like this was some sort of connection error during the game. However, it seems almost as if this then led into a crash, judging by your description.

Please run through this and this, to try to ensure this does not happen again! We do not have the ability to remove server side penalties, so I am sorry for any disappointment caused by this.

Hey, armyink!

Sorry to hear that you have lost MMR due to being in a game with cheaters. MMR rollback occurs when players you've encountered in Ranked matches are identified as cheaters—in this case, they were DDoS-ing. Your MMR gets readjusted accordingly to cancel out the cheaters' effect on the affected games.

For more info, check out our Dev Blog at: http://rainbow6.com/mmrrollback

Thank you.

Thanks for reporting! Please understand that support cannot restore rank or lift temporary bans. If you suspect that the connection was disrupted by another player, please provide complete and accurate details at support.ubi.com.

In order to investigate, we must have all the following details:

Platform:

Suspected player(s):

Video link:

Did you get disconnected from your match? YES OR NO

Did you experience lag while this was happening? YES OR NO

Did you freeze (check the in-game timer to see) or did you crash (had to reboot)? YES OR NO

Players that have been found to be initiating DDoS/DoS attacks will be banned.

Thanks

Hello BlueGhostface,

As my colleague mentioned, please submit the information requested to us via a support case, not here on the public forums. We don't allow witch hunting / public reports, and it is against the forum rules.

I've removed the names of the players and your video links from your posts for this reason. Please do send us the information, but via a proper report in a case on our website. Thank you.

Hey, AlphaGamer135!

Thanks for getting in touch about this. DDosing is against the code of conduct for Rainbow Six: Siege and doing so will result in a permanent ban. If you encounter cheaters in-game please use the in-game reporting feature only.

Hello WebShark75! I'm deeply sorry to hear that this happened during your match in Rainbow Six Siege. I appreciate you taking the time to write this post and include this information. If you were not able to start a live chat with our team, were you able to submit an email to them? If so, can you provide me the case number? I'd like to ensure your report has been placed with the proper team. Thank you!

Sorry to hear you have experienced this in game, however the Support team have no access to specific details regarding account sanctions or the ability to overturn these. I understand this may not be the response you were hoping for but at this time you will need to wait out the duration of this account sanction.

While we hope you do not experience this again, if you feel you have been matched with another player using an exploit or wish to provide reports of any further harassment, please feel free to contact us by using the steps outlined in this FAQ.
