u/JagexJack it's been 6 months since the implementation of the GE tax. We haven't heard anything about it's economic impacts. Did it work as intended, will be be increased?

And also FSW data?

The GE Tax was introduced to offset the Death Cost changes and has been doing its job from what I understand.

I understand that you are upset that this change went in when you did not agree with it, we outlined the changes and the intents in the original post and some of the biggest feedback on that post was that people wouldn't be able to give clear and concise feedback without getting their hands on the changes and that is why we pushed for a beta so that people could try out the changes first hand.

The Poll was another data point for the whole project and not the sole deciding factor in how things would progress.

We want to communicate with our players about changes and to get them in on the process, so we will continue to work to add more Polls/Blogs/Beta etc where possible, just because it didn't go the way you personally had hoped is not a good reason to not continue to try to communicate decisions and intentions with players.

Heyo! Had one of the folks try to replicate this issue and they haven't been able to get the results your seeing. Can you let me know your graphical settings specifically

  1. Volumetric Lighting
  2. Lighting Detail
  3. Bloom

Also let me know if this issue persists if you change around these settings and we will continue to have a look into this.

Sounds like you might still be using your old login derails, your Jagex Account login is the email address you used to set it up

It doesn't really matter what order you do them in, you'll have a new login email for your Jagex Account - you just need to decide whether to use an existing email you have a create a new one

Anyway i been on for the first time today after i moved to jagex launcher and had no problem but that could be because i been in compatibility mode from 2021

We believe the issues with Yahoo were resolved this morning. No need for compatibility mode.
