I'd love to see a South Africa get-together for Stormgate players in the future! In addition to our lead server engineer Austin Hudelson, the credit should be shared with our partners at Hathora and their rock-solid global server network. South Africa, Australia--historically underserved RTS fans around the world are eating good in Stormgate. :)

Thanks for the response! Does this mean matchmaking 2v2, or just custom games? Also, I always like to support people who work hard to make the things I enjoy, so I plan on buying content/ visual packs
Just custom games at this time, though we’ve definitely heard players say that they’d like to see us introduce 2v2 matchmaking in the future. Thanks for supporting Stormgate!
A balance patch is coming this week. (Update: To clarify, we’re working on it this week, but I can’t guarantee 100% that it’ll be pushed to the client before end of week. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.)

I'm. It sure if this is helpful feedback or not, but I currently play SC2 2v2 4-6 nights a week with a friend, who I'd like to play stormgate with. I occasionally do 3s or 4s if our 2 other friends sign on (once In a few months), so 2v2 is a must for me, personally, to purchase.
You can play 2v2 with your friend for free. No need to purchase (unless you want to get in before August 13). I’ve seen that people are enjoying the mode, so I hope you have fun!

Gerald you are without a doubt one of the best. Game companies don't know how good of a community manager they have until shit hits the fan and they prove themselves, but you have done an outstanding job communicating, being open, and having an organized response. Great work.

Yes, that’s how it works. It’s how we’ve seen players in North America compete (and win) European tournaments. Players in Australia are finally able to play an RTS with decent pings.
