As a player that has just completed the campaign. What would you like to see in the endgame other than what the game currently has?
The game's core is capturing and battling, so the endgame is focused on that. Either lumas, pvp or pve activities (which mostly are battle based).
I already did some crunching of the numbers in another post just for the sake of it, here is a summary of it:
They got $573,939 from Kickstarter.
The game sold 1+ millions copies around the time 1.0 launched, if we use 1 million on point and the average price of $40, since the game went from $30 to $45: would bring us to US$40.000.000.
Using the 30% cut from the platforms (which would be lower, since after a game sell more than US$10 million the percentage can get as low as 20% at least on Steam, that is why I used $40 as the average price and not $37,50) it would bring to around US$ 28.000.000.
There is also some revenue which is more difficult to estimate from the Deluxe edition, battle pass, cosmetic shop and how much the Humble Bundle partner deal was.
So, at the minimum around 29 to 30 million dollars over the last 3 years.
Haha, you are totally wrong on your calculations. You are missing the regional pricing and sales for your average price (it's half that), you are missing Spanish taxes, you are missing the publisher taxes...
It's hard because despite Immortal Redneck being yet another FPS roguelike that's been done to absolute death even on release in 2017 the game has very positive reviews. Despite Temtem's quality being way better than most to any of the competition in the monster tamer genre the reviews are bombarded with negativity. The valid criticism is definitely there but I don't blame Crema for wanting to shy away from the community/genre. It's a damn shame though because Temtem2 could have been something else.
The main problem with Temtem (vs Immortal Redneck) has always been expectations. From the moment we announced Temtem expectations were out of the roof, and most people expected something much different (and much much bigger and complex) than our vision for the game. It's important to remind that Temtem was started by a team of 8 and even in the highest moments of the development we've been 30~40. We've expanded our vision and made a lot of things that weren't expected and the game became much bigger, but even with that it has never been enough.
With Immortal Redneck people weren't expecting anything at all, just a fun game and we delivered that.
We'll see what the future departs for Crema but definitely managing expectations is something that we should work and improve on.
The switch performance is my main gripe. When that gets more attention I’ll come back.
:( we're sorry. We work on it almost on every patch, and totally understand your position!
Dojo Wars are disabled throughout June. The first Dojo War with the new system will take place on the week of July 24th to July 30th.
Happy Pride month, Tamers! We wanted to celebrate such special month with all of you, so our next event is all focused on Pride.
Complete quests and obtain cool, exclusive in-game rewards. All through in-game event currency! Remember this is the only chance to get these rewards, as event rewards don't come back! It'll start after maintenance ends tomorrow, and last until July 10th!
We've always tried to make Temtem a safe and inclusive space for the LGBTQ+ community, and we're beyond excited to finally have an event to celebrate that. Happy Pride, our darlings!
External link →I was curious about this but couldn't any confirmation, could you also get one of the mythicals as your starter?
Yep
Didn't you just officially announce it with this message? 🤣
hahaha no, no, this is nothing. When the time comes, we'll do it properly :)
Wait there's a TemTem animation happening? Is this one of those unconfirmed rumors or is it legit?
it's planned. We can't officially announce it yet, but it's legit
Starting on the next update you’ll get the kudo even if the tournament is not created, and also we’re reducing the amount of players per tournament so it should be easier to happen.
Kinda stupid that the fans can find and announce this before the f**king company can.
The f*cking company has been advised not to talk about it until it's more solid, as it can still fall through.
Hiya Tamers! Just keeping you in the loop about a varied assortment of topics.

Welcome to another focused-feedback thread!
The last time we did one of these was about Lairs. While those changes were positive and improved the reward system on Lairs, we were also planning deeper changes to the system to revitalize them. So here we are!
I'm dividing the changes into sections to keep feedback clearer and easier to process. You are welcome to discuss and propose things not talked about here, but you need to be aware and remember that Lairs are a very complicated system that we can't change too much of, only tweak. Doing changes that entirely alter their substance (for example, allowing the boss battle to be done by all 5 players) is out of scope.
Also, have in mind these changes currently don't have a target patch, so while we want to incl...
Haha it's okay! You can read discord posts without joining, and I wanted to encourage flow into the Discord discussion because it's more complete and YaW has already clarified stuff, so I wanted to encourage people actually dropping by and reading it. Just reading it and dropping comments here is already a huge step from not reading it, and since you don't need an account for that, I intentionally didn't copy-paste this here, but I don't mind that you did.
Lairs were a really cool addition and even though it can have a group of people taking part, the progress solely feels singular with no interaction between players aside from the shared currency.
With that being the case I would recommend sections, only just one or maybe two, along the lanes where you team up with other players. Be it as a duo or if possible expanded to have all players. It can be a battle against a tem that is thematically in line with the dungeon or on a rotational set (weekly) which gives unique bonuses for the run. It's a bit more in depth but maybe beating that tem grants you reward bonuses at the end depending on how quick you defeated it. Beat in <4 turns then you got 2x pansun rewards at the end. Beat in in 4-6 then you thet 1.5x etc....
Maybe others can chime in with ideas to extend this but ultimately the lairs need more cooperation elements to really propel them forward.
why double battles are not considered is explained in the linked post! Giving it a read is really recommended so you can better aim the feedback/suggestions
Hello, Tamers!
We're once again ready to discuss a feature and get focused feedback on it from you! This time it's about the Mythical Lairs, a long-discussed feature.
We'd like to please ask you to drop your feedback in the existing Discord thread if possible, as it'll be easier for u/xYaW and the rest of the team to keep track of it. Thread can be found here!
If not, you can also drop your opinions and id...
I appreciate the in depth response! I can't find the tem Tem plus on the Microsoft store. Is it only purchasable in-game?
Yes! You can purchase it from the settings menu ingame.
You can game share but the shared account will have some features limited (can’t trade, use the ingame chat or have expanded Temtem storage).
On shared accounts you can purchase a DLC called Temtem Plus which will enable these features for a reduced price. You can learn more over here: https://temtem.wiki.gg/wiki/Temtem#Temtem_Plus
We tried this multiple times but finding a pick&ban system that works for coop has some challenges. It would need to be a system compatible with the current ranked too, in order to not divide the population.
