Can you elaborate a little bit more on the specific traits of the gear system you're referring to? (There's a lot going on with Legendary/Set items, Ancient quality, Enchanting, Sockets, etc.)

Sorry to see you go. Was there a particular facet, broken glitch, or exploit that you felt was the last straw? Specific examples of the changes that made negative impacts (and how) for you are always appreciated.

I appreciate you taking the time to write out all your feedback on this. RNG is a tough topic to discuss both design wise and psychology wise as you well know.

Quick reminder that making a small comment that adds nothing to the discussion and only serves to 'bump' the thread is considered spamming.

As a type of follow up question that I hope isn't taken the wrong way, how do you feel in the moments where you find a piece of gear that just clicks specifically in The Division 2? Either it's miraculously the perfect drop or you know you have just the thing to recalibrate to make it into the last piece of the puzzle. What's that moment (or those moments) like for each of you?

I really appreciate all the feedback here, everyone. If I may ask... what was the moment where you, if applicable, noticed your feelings on the game taking a turn for the worse? Was it a particular activity, a change from an update, or perhaps a sudden fizzle while sorting through gear?

Thanks for the feedback on some of the NPCs. I've been seeing a lot of people talk about NPC behavior recently, especially with them rushing - so I appreciate the extra detail!

What are the specific scenarios you find the Outcasts to be the most dangerous in?

Personally, I think this is a pretty solid idea. This is first time I'm reading a suggestion like this, so I'm interested to know how others feel about it.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone been able to get this achievement?

If not, what consoles?

At the moment it's nightime and raining and I'm just stood in the dark watching the flashes of lightening listening to the cracks of thunder and getting soaking wet...its glorious.

So thanks Ubi, you got it right for me this time.
Now how about sorting a new Splinter Cell out...

Particularly with the melee damage, TU3 saw universal melee damage reductions to all NPCs. Are you saying the damage output from these particular enemies is still too jarring? What are the particular situations you find yourself in where these enemies are giving you the most trouble?

I appreciate the feedback on this, everyone. If you happen to have images of this occurring please post them here. But I'll be sure to pass this along to the team. Thank you.

Since there is another populated thread about this same topic, I'll be merging the two.

Please take note of the top threads and their topics before making a new thread so that we can not only avoid having split discussions like this, but also keep the forums more orderly in general. Thank you!

Loving all the advice and tips in here everyone. Hope you're all able to secure that weekly project with ease now.

Edit: The link here wasn't working for me and there was another thread featuring what I would believe is the same video so I've merged the threads.

Hey everyone, as this thread has sort of turned into flaming back and forth and gotten pretty off topic, it will be closed. Please try to keep the discussion in line with the original post and treat each other respectfully in the future. Thank you.

On the one hand, it is two birds with one stone. But on the other, it's a smaller variety of things to do. I recommend taking a look at the weekly challenge as well if you want to mix it up both with activities and rewards (Apparel Event is still going on.)

I have been playing around with them for weeks now, mixing and matching pieces with different RNG stats, or using a couple of pieces for set bonuses, and no matter what I do, I'm still gimped in terms of DPS and all utility roles I try to play. Any time I get a green drop now, it just gets dismantled.

I would like to hear from Ubisoft as to why the gear sets were designed the way they were designed, and what purpose they saw those designs fillin...

Very cool. I appreciate the in-depth (and in-character) details of the build you've got going on here. Very very cool indeed, plus some awesome gameplay videos. Fantastic!

I hope we're lucky enough to get another as detailed build from you in the future!

Well, it's a practice that has multiple functions... It can encourage players to perhaps try something out of their comfort zone of gameplay or go a step further and challenge themselves (either in finding a group to participate or the gameplay itself). Having specialized drop locations can also make it easier to selectively farm for a specific piece of gear (i.e. if all Exotics dropped from all sources, your chance of getting the one specific exotic you want is technically (in most cases) lowered). It can also act a sort of trophy for a player's dedication and prowess to the game.

This is a topic that has been discussed quite a bit since before The Division 2 was released. But I'm always curious about how individuals look at it. What kind of potential reward would be big/alluring enough that it might make you go the distance and try the Raid?

Other posts in here are absolutely correct. There is a chance to get keys from caches, not a guarantee. Additionally, there is a limit to item obtainable through the Apparel Event.

Best of luck!
