Merging a couple posts from Feedback to here, as this appears to be the ongoing discussion topic for this specific issue. Try this, too:

I suppose this is worth asking: Are you running the version from Steam or the one released recently on the Windows store/Gamepass?

I wonder if it’s related to this:

Hi there, no new updates on the matter at this time. Currently debugging databases from affected official servers to try and reproduce the exact issue in a controlled environment.

It’s, uh, me :stuck_out_tongue:

But I guess I do have similar features to Mr. Lee here

I appreciate that; we do try. Obviously we can always do better and make presenting info that much clearer to the average forum lurker

Sorry, got mixed up. You can just select any of the ‘Request Types’ up there, enter relevant information as you’re able to (you can just put N/A for things like Server number) and then enter your request in the main body. All the tickets are manually processed anyway, so one of our support staff will spot it.

Thanks for the usability feedback. We’ll look into what’s possible with the forum software provider.

It is currently not possible to change your Funcom Live Services name on your end, but we may be able to help you out if you submit a request through Zendesk.

You can submit your request under any category, but please make sure to include “Funcom ID Change Request” in the title.

Please note: Each request must be manually reviewed and approved on a case-by-case basis, so this is not a guarantee you’ll be able to get your name changed.

Technically the forums do have a tutorial when you create a new account (via CatBot) but it may not be the most extensive program.

You can search Activity under the Conan Exiles Dev Group or the Community Groups, and the ‘Dev Tracker’ link at the top of the Exiles forum does seem to work. That links directly to the ‘Conan Exiles Dev’ group’s activity.

Popping in to say I’m in a DM with OP and talking details - we’re not 100% certain of what’s happening but wanted to make sure yall know we’re not ignoring the topic :adnybap:

To add to Ignasi’s reply; we get where the complaint comes from, but it’s the nature of the beast, as mentioned. We cannot realistically reply to every single bug report topic that pops up, and we can only urge yall to understand that us not posting in a topic does not mean we haven’t seen it (and on the flipside, since we’re ultimately human, sometimes we do miss stuff, so sometimes we need a prod).

What we’re doing in the ‘fun’ thread is very much the definition of “Community Engagement” and is absolutely a part of our jobs, in addition to being a funny diversion. This is a forum about a video game, after all - we should be having some fun. :stuck_out_tongue:

Does this mean everything’s being handled perfectly? Of course not. We’re aware there’s issues and we’re thankful for your reports, and we’ll always continue...

So you are aware, Narelle is not Funcom staff so please direct your commentary about our processes at us, not at them. They’re just trying to help.

Pretty easily! For example, investigative work to identify the root cause of the issue can take an open-ended amount of time, as can a solution to that issue once identified. For weirdly complex issues or those issues which have an unclear cause, it can take longer than anyone expects or hopes to find a 100% reproducible cause.

Just knowing something happening is rarely enough - you have to find out what exactly is causing it in the first place, and then sometimes figuring out a workable solution, testing it, and finding a proper deployment method can take additional time. Working with different platforms, as noted above, can also further complicate matters.

Very rarely are matters like this cut-and-dry experiences.

If you’re referring to the PS4 issue, this is something we’re still working on but don’t have an ETA for a resolution at this time:

Hi there, we’ll need to ask for more information about the issue. In the topic template we set out, we ask for some extra details that will help:

Game mode: [ Select one: (Online official | Online private | Single-player | Co-op)]
Server type: [ Select one: PvP | PvE-Conflict | PvE ]
Region: [ Please enter your server region ]
Hardware: [ Please specify what model of PS4 or 5 you’re using ]

And if you can reproduce the issue further, please describe the exact steps you took leading up to the items disappearing. Things you did before, what container you used, what you did with the furnace, etc. Please be as detailed as possible. Thanks!

Hey there, no new updates since yesterday’s post from Ignasi. Generally speaking, as soon as we know anything concrete on progress of the issue, we’ll let you know. A gap in our posting should not be taken as an indication the team is not actively working on the matter.

Also, to (hopefully) make things easier, we’ve enabled direct .txt and .log file extension uploads to posts so you don’t have to paste huge logs in your replies. You shou...

Hi! As mentioned earlier in the thread, we are only so many people and we cannot reply to literally every topic or bug report in the forum. As Multigun posted, there is a dev tracker site players built where you can see what we’re posting and where (https://devtrackers.gg/conan-exiles) and I have been looking into how we can effectively re-implement a dev tracker for the forums itself.

It’s a little tricky since we have a bunch of games on this forum so some of our posts may show up from other categories (such as posts about downtimes or seasonal events in the MMOs), but the information is available to you as a player.

I’ve actually been busy with other tasks so I haven’t even been doing forum mod stuff the past couple days beyond merging the IoS forum with General. That’s likely why you got the notices.
