How Many days before the launch day they announce the new league?1 Month ?
Most likely 8-10 days earlier.

Because they accidentally highlighted a Writhing Jar build once.
Lmao
It's almost exclusively to do with how much time they take vs how many people we have available to work on them. With our Community Team expanding, I hope that these become possible again as we really enjoy them.
It's in the Development Manifesto section which also appears on the front page of the website. We also posted it all over social media and put banners on the website and game client.
At this point I wish you, meaning anyone working for GGG, would completly disconnect from this subreddit because the expectation that bitching on this subreddit will eventually reach your eyes and ears is a major contributor to the ongoing toxicity here as of the past couple of years imo and that's significantly detracting from my and many other peoples enjoyment of the game, even if the gameplay is great
We have discussed this to some extent. It's a double edged sword because reddit is a great communication device and realistically the fastest way for us to reach the largest percentage of Path of Exile players compared to any other platform.
We also want to have those discussions with the community and be open to talking about things, and checking in on the feedback. It does breed more feedback but as Jonathan and Chris have said in the past, "we love angry reddit threads". Not when they're personal attacks but they usually aren't. They have been invaluable to us throughout the years so I don't really know what to say about that.
I guess I would ask that people aim to be fair and productive in their feedback and most importantly - be accepting of others who don't share their point of view. Various versions of "fix your game" and "you suck" aren't helpful - but all the thoughtful and well-reasoned responses are great and I don't want them to go away.
...Reddit and Twitter doesn't speak for the majority. You have your stats and you'll do the right thing. There's a reason PoE is becoming bigger and bigger.
Just anecdotally, one of the first times I saw the community in this sort of mood was over the discovery of the GCP recipe and how it would ruin the game by making it too easy (alongside the way it was discovered). It can be easy to get caught up in the mood of the day but I believe we've shown over time that we're flexible enough to change when needed and also confident in sticking to what we know when needed.
Sometimes but not always. They do not give in if they feel their decision is better for the game.
I would not expect them to undo the nerfs.
Yep, that's pretty much the case here. I'm reading everything going on in the subreddit right now. I wish I had more to say but I would basically be repeating what was written in the manifesto. We definitely understand why people are upset about it. We'll continue to track the conversation and feedback.
I understand being upset about the nerfs but please be aware that this line "So. GGG. You have unequivocally pissed me off. Your trophy for that achievement will come in the mail shortly." reads as an explicit threat.
How about any scaling issues from the story acts into later tier maps? It feels like all the good rewards I've got from red map rituals were things I was still deferring from levelling.
It does sound as though the way rewards scale through maps could be the cause of people feeling like they're less rewarding over time.
We haven't deliberately changed Ritual's rewards and can't think of anything else that changed that would have inadvertently affected them.
For how long is there a potential for a tsunami? Is there anything like evacuation orders around your area? Please stay safe folks <3
There are evacuation orders in place further north than us and further south. Auckland (where we are) is some what protected by islands off the coast which are also under evacuation orders. Looks like it's most likely to hit 1-2 hours from now. Auckland is currently under lockdown right now as well (unrelated to earthquakes).
Edit: Looks like the worst has passed with nothing too major going down. Thanks for the concern!
GGG is based a bit further south than where these warnings are in place so we're all okay for now but we're definitely on alert in case the situation escalates. There doesn't seem to be any damage from the Earthquakes, the big risk is the tsunami potential.

I get the meme but I’m not sure it’s fair to describe it that way. When we first announced Xbox people were nervous because it was the first time we’d done something like that and they weren’t sure what it meant for the PC version of the game. Then just a few weeks later we announced The Fall of Oriath with six acts instead of just act five which seemed to clear that up (RIP PT).
The stairs have been a great GGG moment for me, all the hype back then was crazy. My favorite moment has to be the ES nerf rap though. That was just amazing!
Rory is a legend.
This was one of my favourite days! We announced the stairs around the same time we released a trailer (I think for Xbox?) We were going to reveal the stairs subtly during the trailer and I was extremely insistent that we remove them and post it as a stand alone event like this. At that time it was only the first or second time Path of Exile had made it to the front page of Reddit. Going through and painstakingly matching the screenshot to the original as a callback was also really fun. The stairs were created as a result of the community and it felt right to make it into a memorable moment like that.
This is confirmed. We're working on a fix.
We've discussed something similar to this quite a few times. We have some interest in it but generally speaking the squeeze/juice ratio never really hit quite right. Not out of the question some day though.
