The answer is we have prioritized other things when allocating resources to update the game. I know that is kind of a boring answer right. It's just when we are decided on what to change and put it up against something else, we have felt the other thing would be more impactful.
Not saying this is a non-issue though. We are aware that it is currently confusing and that players would like to see it updated in a future update.

Yes, we are aware of the feedback. I've let the team know that players would like Warlock melee speed to be increased to match the other classes.

So I guess they do realize Shadowkeep wont be their most popular DLC, but they are using it as a base to build whatever they are building for Destiny 2 in the future.
That seems acceptable.
What I dont agree with, is saying that Forsaken broke a lot of bones on D2, when it was basically the DLC that "saved" the game, I hope they dont try to approach D2Y1 gameplay style again with everything being slow as heck (which I doubt is whate they are going for), because it will be controversial to say the least.
They need to mesh the best of Y1 with the best of Y2 and hope it ends up being a decent formula.
I wouldn't say that "breaking bones" is a negative thing. It's more a reference to making deep changes to the game that affect a lot of things and usually requires a lot of work under the hood. Adjusting the weapon slots in Forsaken was "breaking bones" of loadout creation, but I think...hope most players would agree it was a positive change.

*edit: Done. In short, there's a RSS feed we monitor for new Bungie posts. Unfortunately there seems to be an option that needs to be set on Bungies end to publish in the feed. With the usual publisher dmg unavailable (get well soon!), DeeJ might have forgotten to check that option (he did as well when he had to jump in for the TWAB this summer). So I had to manually post this from the bot account, and copied the basic format form an old post and forgot to replace the URL ;)
I went ahead and fixed this for the next ones.

Long story short, half my heart was racing with an irregular beat. This is the same thing that happened about a year and a half ago, but this time medications weren’t doing the trick at getting me back on track. Took a shock to the chest, and I’m back to “normal.”
It’s funny, as I was in the same room as last time. AFIB is somewhat common, and I was the third cardioversion of the day at the ER. Sure, it’s terrifying... I was shaking the majority of each visit. End of the day, I was in good hands surrounded by medical professionals and everything was alright.
A few folks have asked “how do I know if I should go to the hospital, my heart is sometimes irregular!”
Call up your general practitioner. See if you need to go to a cardiologist. If your heart is racing for more than 6-12 hours even when resting, go to urgent care. Like I said before, it’s scary. Needles suck and being in a hospital is not fun. Challenge those fear...
