This used to be a thing a few patches ago but they changed that, now when I look at my friends ping or own ping it's almost completely gone and I have trouble finding the ping. I have looked into all the game settings but there is no setting for this. Can they please return this to the way it was?

Sniper & tank spotting scopes seem to function again, although they seem a bit sluggish about acquiring targets - I'll take that over "not working entirely" or "can only spot within spitting distance". Airplane spotting cameras seem to be sluggish and inconsistent. When picking up infantry it's as if random small ground clutter is blocking line-of-sight or there are inconsistent range gaps that won't show targets (not sure how best to word that, I can pick them up when very close or very far but only 50/50 success at medium ranges). It's odd because the camera seems to spot vehicles with eagle accuracy regardless of range or ground clutter.

I am currently working on improving this so expect that to get some fixes for a future update (spotting consistency + displaying of spotted icons in various cases, especially from airplanes).

Yes this is what was happening before, it would detonate too early meaning it would damage only at the edge of the blast radius == low damage.

It has been increased and can now penetrate more materials. For Bolt Action Sniper Rifles, they have the potential to kill with a single headshot through a lot more materials now. It is obviously not as good as the AT Material Rifles.

Most of it is fixed although there are more bug fixes related to spotting that are coming with 4.6 - Please let us know if you see some issues.

Any reason as to why you guys go back to how it was before?

For consistency with other deployable gadgets that do not unspawn on death (AT Mines being the closest example) and data on gadget balance, unspawning AP Mines on death did not look necessary.

Yes, soldier physics tend to sometimes get some pretty high velocity spikes for multiple reasons, especially when entering certain animations to warp to a certain point, this can cause collision in a bunch of scenarios :)

THE AP/AT mines aren't really getting buffed. The AT mines were broken for a little bit of time as they were activating way too early before hitting a vehicle and we are fixing that in this update. For the AP Mine, we are just bringing back the part where they do not unspawn on player death.

Seems like you had a severe latency spike for a brief moment (it even looks like you got disconnected). If your client can't be synced with the server for that duration, it won't know the position of the player and will just extrapolate then try to catch-up as soon as it's synced again which will look exactly like what is happening in your video.
