If we didn't care for the community, we wouldn't have such strict requirements for recovering accounts. This is done as a security measure for account theft. We also wouldn't be banning accounts for cheating if we didn't care about the community members that are legitimately playing.

I'd like you to power cycle your equipment with the following steps: unplug your modem, router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem and router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. Let me know if that helps or not. Thanks!

Just to confirm, your Xbox is wired and not on wireless, right? Also, try using alternate DNS servers. From the Xbox One home screen, go to Settings > Network > Advanced settings > DNS settings > Manual. (If Settings doesn't appear on the home screen, select My Games & Apps, then Settings). From there, enter the Primary DNS as "208.67.222.222" and the Secondary DNS as "208.67.220.220". If that doesn't help, try using the google DNS servers which are: primary alt number 8.8.8.8 - secondary alt number 8.8.4.4.

I see you reset your console, modem and router, but did you hard restart your console as well as unplug your network equipment for 2 minutes. If not, follow these steps: unplug your modem, router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem and router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. You said you're on wireless in your original post. Just to be sure, is there an ethernet cable running from your system to the router? What system are you playing on?

That's probably the issue then. Wireless is unreliable and prone to disconnects/lag. Especially when the signal has to travel through walls and/or floors. This gets worse when there are other devices sharing the same connection. It's worse still when anyone is streaming media while you're playing. Until you get wired, or at a minimum, closer to the router, this will continue to happen. You can try changing the wireless channel you're using. That may help. Thanks for contacting us about this. I'll try to help figure out what's going on. First, are you on a wired or wireless connection? Also, was it just these 2 instances or do you disconnect more frequently?
