The issue appears to be effecting authentication servers as well currently. We are working on a fully offline mode for 1.0 which will not depend on authentication (though we of course realize this doesn’t help during this outage).

19:33CT Update: We’re seeing a large number of services coming online and players getting back in game, however we are still seeing a number of failures occurring. We expect these to even out as services continue to come back up.

  • Fixed a bug where using a Rune of Research could not create a Glyph of Insight.
  • Fixed a bug causing projectiles to be destroyed early in the Ritual Lake echo layout.
  • Fixed a bug which caused Frostclaw’s Glamdring node to scale with increased and more melee damage stats.
  • Fixed a bug where submitting a bug report when your Log File was too large could crash the game client.

Hey there, sorry to hear you're encountering issues getting the game to launch. What you're seeing here is the crash handler creating the crash log. The best place to look as to what's going on is the log file.

We're looking into reports of this.

if an item is forced un-equipped, it should follow a series of locations it tries to go.

1.) It goes into your inventory

2.) If no space in inventory, it goes into Gift inventory

3.) If no space in either above option, it appears on the ground.

Try checking these locations, along with checking the Forge (just to see if it might have been left there).

We haven't been able to reproduce this yet, all tests so far did correctly send the weapon to the inventory, but we're investigating cases where the inventory of the character didn't have room for the weapon.

Personal items will not have affixes which grant one classes skills to another, though there may be more examples of affixes normally available to one class, available to all on a Personal Item. One-shot Caches are only found during the campaign, as such Personal items are generally intended for leveling. So do keep in mind you won’t be seeing high level or endgame variants of Personal Items at the current time.

I’m not aware of anything that restricts a Rune of Research from sealing an exalted experimental Affix (I can’t double check that today), so that would be correct - for now.
