The issue appears to be effecting authentication servers as well currently. We are working on a fully offline mode for 1.0 which will not depend on authentication (though we of course realize this doesn’t help during this outage).

Hello Travelers. We are aware of an issue effecting server connectivity, resulting in an error regarding “unusual levels of traffic”. We are currently working with our service providers to resolve this issue ASAP. We apologize for the inconvenience.
19:33CT Update: We’re seeing a large number of services coming online and players getting back in game, however we are still seeing a number of failures occurring. We expect these to even out as services continue to come back up.

External link →Hey there, sorry to hear you're encountering issues getting the game to launch. What you're seeing here is the crash handler creating the crash log. The best place to look as to what's going on is the log file.
Here's some information on finding the log file: https://support.lastepoch.com/hc/en-us/articles/1260805192629-The-Game-s-Log-File
Of course, you can submit a bug report on our forums with the log here: ...

if an item is forced un-equipped, it should follow a series of locations it tries to go.
1.) It goes into your inventory
2.) If no space in inventory, it goes into Gift inventory
3.) If no space in either above option, it appears on the ground.
Try checking these locations, along with checking the Forge (just to see if it might have been left there).
We haven't been able to reproduce this yet, all tests so far did correctly send the weapon to the inventory, but we're investigating cases where the inventory of the character didn't have room for the weapon.

... Read moreQuick note: We changed out the image of the Personal Item as the previous one had a bug where part of its name was not displaying correctly.
Personal items will not have affixes which grant one classes skills to another, though there may be more examples of affixes normally available to one class, available to all on a Personal Item. One-shot Caches are only found during the campaign, as such Personal items are generally intended for leveling. So do keep in mind you won’t be seeing high level or endgame variants of Personal Items at the current time.
Welcome to the final Pre-Patch Blog Post before the release of the full Patch Notes for Runes of Power!
Today we’re going to be looking at another new encounter mechanic we’re adding to Last Epoch in just three days! As mentioned in the Rune Prisons blog post, we wanted to improve the moment- to-moment feeling within the Campaign, as well as within Echoes. To bolster this, we’re adding two types of caches to the game: One-shot Caches, which can be found during the Campaign, and Lost Caches, which can be found within the Monolith of Fate.
Have you ever though...

Confirmed Exalted Experimental Affixes can be sealed using a Rune of Research.
Items can have a max of 1 Experimental Affix.
I’m not aware of anything that restricts a Rune of Research from sealing an exalted experimental Affix (I can’t double check that today), so that would be correct - for now.
