As all purchases are handled by Steam, I recommend contacting Steam Support in this case. We have very minimal visibility in these areas, so Steam would be best equipped to help out.

Never would have come to that conclusion! What a discovery! Thank you for letting us know - I’ll add it to the article tomorrow

Oh! That’s really weird… Weapon Customisation is still being referenced in the latest logs.

Comment

It’s not completely possible, but we do what we can in terms of mirroring operatives levels and currencies. If you’d like to do this, please reach out to us at https://fatshark.se/support

I’ve queried this with our developers, and I’ll report back to you. Please let me know if anything changes in the mean time.

Comment

Hmmm it’s referencing the Weapon Customisation mod now. It can be a bit messy when mods are involved as they add so much spam to the logs. Could you try disabling them all purely to see if the issue persists?

Comment

Yep, all done for you!

It looks like your Ogryn was deleted on Thu 26 Oct 2023 00:54:23 UTC, with another two operatives of lower levels. Perhaps by accident?

Sadly we’re not able to restore operatives at this time due to limitations in our backend. However, if you were to create a new Ogryn, I can level it back up for you.

Comment

No problem, all done.

This looks like it’s caused by the ‘Crosshair Remap’ mod. Hope this helps!

Our Launcher Developer is looking in to this, and has asked if you could upload the newest versions of your console logs + darktide_launcher.log now that your shader cache is building, please?

Additionally, could you tell me which OS you’re using?

Comment

Sorry to be a bother @Thijsje, but we’re wondering if you could provide us with your most recent console logs + darktide_launcher.log to help our investigation please?

Sorry to hear this. We have implemented logging for errors of this nature to help us identify the underlying cause, but we still don’t know enough at this point. In the mean time, would you like me to help with a refund?

There seems to be an issue with these GPUs, which we’re looking in to. Please try this as a workaround:

  1. Navigate to Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer 40,000 DARKTIDE\launcher
  2. Delete GPUDetection.exe
  3. Launch Darktide as normal, and see if the issue persists

We’re actually investigating, so we don’t know for sure, but we think it’s something related to certain GPUs such as yours!

Could you ask him to contact us directly over at https://fatshark.se/support please?

Sorry for the delay here. I did query this with our Engine Developers, as we’ve recently added logging to help pin down the underlying cause of these errors.

I don’t have any immediate answers unfortunately, but it might be worth running through the solutions here. Historically we’ve seen these errors a lot when a player’s RAM is having trouble, or if the speeds are mismatched.

Hm, are there any errors in your Windows Event Viewer (‘Event Viewer’ → ‘Windows Logs’ → ‘System’) that corresponds with when this has occurred?
