We will be taking down servers in approximately 15 minutes to deploy a fix for the mail system. We will update this thread when servers are back online.

If the compatibility mode check did not work for you, I'll have to forward your report to the team. Thanks for confirming you went through all the troubleshooting steps. Hopefully, we get can your game into a working state soon!
Hi there,
Can you please confirm if you have completed these steps and you are still unable to see servers?
Hello everyone,
Another issue has been found concerning the mail system so we will be shutting if off again momentarily. I'll be keeping this thread updated, so please keep an eye on it or on our Twitter account.
Servers are being brought back online. Thank you for your patience!

That being said, @JackieKo, the help.ea.com page with SWTOR minimum system requirements with date of 2017 August 21 still lists Windows 7. Someone needs to get those updated if that is no longer that case.
Yup, that will be updated shortly.

Hey everyone,
I'm keeping players updated on this issue in this thread here. I will continue to make updates there to keep info consolidated. Thanks!

Addendum:
I just reached a member of our guild privately.
He gets down to his characters with no problems. The problem seems to affect individual players.
Hey Sylvannai,
We're bringing the servers down right now, but when they come back up, can you update this thread and confirm if you're able to or still not able to access all the servers?
Thanks!
We will be bringing down servers in about 15 minutes to deploy a fix for the mail system issue. I will update this thread again when the servers are back online.

Just out of curiosity, I ran swtor.exe (from the retailclient folder) and got this error: "The procedure entry point ucrtbase.terminate could not be located in the dynamic link library api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll" - which is not a problem that occurs with any other program/game on my machine.
I have emailed support with the same information (my OS, when I patched, what happened afterwards, disabled antivirus/firewall, manually installed DirectX runtime, uninstalled and reinstalled with the same problem, uninstalled again and attempted to run the game from the copy I archived after patching this morning) and attached the complete launcher log file.
As everything else has been ruled out, the team strongly recommends updating the OS as with this update, the new recommended OS is Windows 10.
Hey there, I've forwarded this on to the team. I'll update here when I have more info from them!

I patched this morning, and after patching finished, clicking on the play button didn't start the game as usual (which would have taken me to the server select screen showing all servers down as I patched during maintenance). Looking online for solutions, I came across the DirectX 9 issue that corrected the problem for some people; this did not work for me (I updated it, yes). I have disabled both my firewall and my antivirus. I never ran SWTOR in compatibility mode, and I checked again to confirm this. I am running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit.
Just to confirm, you installed the June 2010 Direct X runtime and manually ran the dxsetup.exe file?

I extracted the files to a new folder I called ...\SWTOR\Direct X 9 (because I only use it or this game) and within that folder, there is a file called SETUP.exe which you then need to run. I do not know why Microsfot decided not to make it run automatically.
This is a good callout. The files need to be extracted and then the dxsetup.exe has to be run. I've updated my post in the 64-bit common issues thread.
For those who are experiencing issues, please confirm if you have done this and whether or not you are able to log into the game and play as normal.
FYI, we have temporarily shut down the mail system. I will update the thread here when it is back online.
For those who are unable to play/log despite checking the AV/firewall, compatibility mode, and updated DX9, can you confirm if you are seeing the Bug Splat window AFTER clicking Play? Or if it doesn't show up at all?
Thanks for the updates. I'm forwarding to the team.

I do not run a separate AV/Firewall (other than what comes with Windows10).
Can you please confirm that you added the app to the program that comes with Windows 10 and you're still not able to play/log in?
Hi all,
I'm trying to keep track of all the updates, but if you are experiencing an issue of not being able to log in/play, can you please confirm in ONE post if:

This is correct.
