We're setting up another play test with the devs for tomorrow, February 16th at 1:30pm CT to further test the Alderaan PvP Map. Please note the following: 

• This phase of PTS will be closing on Friday, February 17th at 5:00pm CT
• As a heads up, the Opal Vulptilla mount can only be earned during this phase of PTS, so you will no longer have the opportunity to earn the reward after the Friday deadline. 

See you all during tomorrow's play test!

I had the same issue, but I was able to fix it by turning compatibility mode off for both executables as suggested by a few other posts in the Testing 64 bit thread. Go to the SWTOR directory (for me that was Windows (C:)/Program Files (x86)/Electronic Arts/BioWare/Star Wars - The Old Republic), right click on launcher.exe, select Properties, go to the Compatibility tab, and make sure the compatibility mode box is unchecked. Do the same check for the PTS launcher, which is at Star Wars - The Old Republic/publictest/retailclient/swtor.exe. Once my two launchers had the same compatibility settings, the PTS showed up in my server select screen.

Hi everyone, 

We received reports that some players are seeing a maintenance error message when trying to log onto the PTS. We will be resetting the PTS shortly in order to see if this will fix the state that these players are in. Players who are currently on PTS should expect a bounce soon, but the server will come back up immediately after.

Hi everyone, 

We received reports from players that they are unable to completely log onto the PTS as they do not see anything on the server list. If you are experiencing this, please follow these step so that we can do further investigation into this issue: 

• Send an email to [email protected] and in the subject line include "7.2.1 PTS - Empty Server List".
• Send us the host.developer.log file  C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\BioWare\Star Wars - The Old Republic Launcher\ on Windows
• Send us the client log located in the install directory \Star Wars-The Old Republic\publictest\retailclient\publictest\logs
• If possible, please indicate if you are experiencing this on the the launcher, Steam, both, or if one is working and not the other
• Be sure to include your account name!

Credit Economy

• Travelling between Strongholds doesn't always cost credits.
  • There is follow up info that can be found here. 
• Durability changes are not working

Appreciate everyone testing out the Warzone matches today. We're getting a lot of good feedback and data. One thing that the team would like to know is how many Medals you earned per match per win/loss. I'll be updating the OP with this question.

I understand that there is going to be a lot of conversation around this topic, but I ask that the feedback here is posted after you have gone through some game time on the PTS and experienced the adjustments. The team is asking for the specific questions in my original post to be answered, so please keep posts on topic. Completely fine if you have additional thoughts on the credit economy changes, but I ask that you all check out PTS live as that direct feedback will help us navigate changes going forward. 

And to reiterate, this is only the start of this initiative. "This will be an ongoing initiative that will be rolled out over several updates as we want to slowly introduce these new changes and give players time to adjust and also provide opportunities to give us feedback."

I'm creating this space to house dev updates regarding the PTS. I am hoping this is easier for all of you to find info about this initiative. To start, please always follow these steps if you experience a crash: 

• System specs - processor, video card, OS version
• What were you doing before the crash happened?
• Please provide a DxDiag report and send it to [email protected] with the subject line 64-Bit PTS Testing

As there are thousands of permutations of processor, memory, graphics card, etc…we're especially on the hunt for issues that show up with specific configurations. Please play as you normally would, and if there is anything strange happening, let us know about it!

A new iteration of PTS has been deployed. If you experienced a crash prior to this build, we highly encourage you to test out PTS again and report any new findings here. Should your game experience a crash, please follow the support steps listed here. 

As an FYI, it is expected that the download for the launcher will be over 30GB and Steam's will be 8GB.
