During tomorrow's maintenance, we will be taking down the PTS. We will not be reopening it as we will be working on polishing up 7.4. That said, I'll get a high level overview post together to let you all know what's being worked on until 7.4 launch. This will not be a comprehensive list as we'll save that for the full patch notes, but this should give you a glimpse into what we are working after getting feedback from PTS test...

Hi all, wanted to clarify that the survey is being randomly sent out to players who have had active accounts over an unspecified amount of time. And they are being sent throughout the week. Appreciate everyone who fills it out and offers constructive feedback!

For 7.4, only the player running the chapter will get the OP-1 Catalysts. We are, however, looking into options to make them available to the entire group in a future update.

Hi everyone, 

We will be bringing down the SWTOR website and character transfer pages again tomorrow at 8am CT / 2pm UTC for backend maintenance. This is part of the process of migrating our tools over to the cloud. One of these tools impacts account purchases. Estimated downtime: 2hrs.

To avoid any issues with account purchases via the website and Steam, we encourage players to make account purchases once maintenance is over. 

Purchases in-game will not be affected by this maintenance and can be made normally.

Additionally, servers will not be impacted during this time, so players can continue to play as normal. I will post updates here as I get them.

As a reminder, I do ask that reports of this nature be submitted using the in-game tools so the right teams get eyes on the reports and the relevant info can be pulled and investigated.
I also want to clear up a misconception about the moderators here. The forum moderators are not part of the Terms of Service team, they manage the forums only.  Naming and shaming and calling out other players is not permitted on the forums, so please report players using the in-game tools or if needed, send me a PM.

I also did see a request for the 7.4 class balance changes. They are listed below: 

Sniper / Gunslinger

• Engineering / Saboteur
  • Reduced the critical damage bonus given to Explosive Probe / Explosive Charge from the Lazer Targeting / Sequential Targeting mod to 20% (from 25%).

Juggernaut / Guardian

• Vengeance / Vigilance
  • Removing the cooldown reduction from Major Fracture / Cauterizing Brand
  • Fixed an issue with Deep Cuts where it wasn't properly increasing periodic damage critical hit chance

Powertech / Vanguard

• Pyrotech / Plasmatech
  • Superheated Fuel now...

This post will serve as a one stop check-in that will provide a snapshot status report of all components that are being tested in PTS for Game Update 7.4 “Chains in the Dark”.  Expect this post to be updated on an ongoing basis to reflect changes and updates regarding PTS as time passes.

Known issues:

General

• When traveling to Kessan’s Landing, Imperial characters must click on Kessan’s Landing BEFORE clicking “Travel now”. If this is not done, players will see an “Error, data not found” message.
• Map inaccuracies. (Missions markers are not impacted)
• Some animations may not work properly
• [NEW] Daily Area rewards are set up with the Reputation vendor except for decorations
• [NEW] Daily Area decos are not dropping

World boss FR3...

For those who may have missed the stream, here’s a breakdown of the changes coming to gearing. 

The power ceiling is being raised. Here are the new maximum Item Ratings for gear coming with 7.4.

• Noble Decurion - 340
• Supreme Decurion - 340
• Tionese - 340
• Columi - 340
• Rakata - 344
• Thyrsian - 336

Players who have acquired the Virulent armor from The R-4 Anomaly will be able to exchange their armor for Rakata armor at the R-4 Veteran Exchange vendor in the supplies section of the fleet using R-4 Veteran Gear Tokens, OP-1 Catalysts, and credits.

Implants will no longer drop from bosses or be given from upgrade crates above Item Rating 336. This will make it easier for players to focus on Legendary Implants. Any previously obtained Implants can still be upgraded on the Fleet.
