Some of you may have noticed a new name showing up in Support tickets and around the place so it’s time we introduced them!

@Bramble is our new CX Human!
We’re so excited to have Bramble on the CX Team as someone with a passion for games, game dev and community! and just generally a super chill and fun person to work with.

The Maps will be getting added back to the Spell but we have no ETA on that right now.

Thanks to the recent posts in this thread and ticket we discovered a bug where the lock icon isn’t displaying on unowned Weapons so it’s not very obvious between what’s owned and not at the moment.

Sorry about that! It’s been reported to the team so hopefully that can be fixed soon.

Yeah, I’ve confirmed this is intended. We give the stores the prices and then they do what they need to from their end to it based on exchange rates they’re using etc. so there will be slight variations between the stores.

The only way to avoid variations on the same server would be to not allow cross play, but we want our GooglePlay, Amazon, App Store and Steam players to be able to play together at their PCs and on mobile on the go and we know the community want crossplay so we have to work with the existing store systems and ToS, agreements etc.

Sorry everyone, we’ve tried several fixes but none seem to have fixed it. We also don’t seem to be able to reproduce the issue on any of our devices, so we are basically testing a fix, checking in with you folks and others who have reported it, testing another fix, checking in again etc.

We’ve been looking for patterns with the affected players but have found no patterns:

  • Device models
  • Android versions
  • Region (although if region had anything to do with it the fixes we tried and the troubleshooting we’ve asked you all to do definitely would have fixed this issue already)

Basically, we’re trying a bunch of stuff and looking for clues as to what on earth is causing it from what you’re all sharing with us.

If we have any significant updates we will let you know, but we have been actively working on this and trying different things to no avail so far :thinking:...

I’ve contacted the team responsible for the in app purchases in the stores to see what’s up.

Again though, the exchange rate as far as I know is set and changed by the store itself for all games at the same time when the store wants to update it. There will sometimes be slight variations in prices based on this and also based on where they’re getting their exchange rate information etc.

Disclaimer: I’m not an expert on the details on this, I have never been part of a team responsible for setting the prices or needing to understand the exact details of how every store sets their exchange rates etc.

I just know it’s related to the exchange rates and prices do vary across stores/regions based on that.

Different stores have different fees and use different exchange rates. I can bring this up with the team though just in case but these are the 2 reasons for different prices 99% of the time.

I would have to confirm but I would think the value for Weapon Flash Offers would adjust automatically based on price and rounding and not be something a human enters into the offer data.

I’ve moved this thread to feedback so it doesn’t get lost (it was in the “uncategorised” list) - I also changed the title. Please don’t write to support about this. We can’t do anything with support tickets that have feedback in them other than what we are already doing on the forum - which is passing the feedback on. But the added downside to receiving feedback support tickets is that they take time away from helping players with account and technical issues.

I hear ya out here loud and clear.
I have given the feedback, I’ve been told it’s not bugged.
I also tested this again yesterday myself.

If you want my results:

Given I’ve been told this isn’t bugged, I will focus more on the fact it FEELS streaky and unfair and leaves a bad taste in the mouth, when I’m sharing this with the team to see if anything more can be done from that angle.

Just following up as it’s been awhile since I replied.

I’m sorry my messages came across in a “hostile” way, it really wasn’t my intention. Text can be difficult to convey tone and intention and with stress levels already running high in this thread due to the issue at hand can make communication a bit more difficult.

I asked for an update on the Vault event today and I’m hoping to have one before the weekend - I will keep poking!

Please keep the thread civil, unfortunately there had to be a couple of bans and several posts deleted due to swearing and insults. Also just a reminder that constructive criticism of anything is ok but targetting individuals whether they be players or staff (we’re all people right?) isn’t ok. Not only is it not pleasant to be on the receiving end, it gives the idea that it’s ok to behave like that towards anyone at any time they post and makes the forum a hostile environment for anyone who was thinking about joining. If you’ve gone and pulled unannounced information from unfinalised game data you’re basically asking me to address something that isn’t going to happen, it may as well not exist.

I could write anything in the schedule and it won’t mean anything until we announce it as finished. I could write absolutely ridiculous stuff in there and it would mean nothing.

It’s exactly like complaining unannounced Troops aren’t balanced or they’re using the same Troop art as an existing Troop - because they’re not finished or announced.

There was not going to be a Vault event in january at all, now there is going to be one between now and when the next one IS actually scheduled so it is an extra Vault event.

If you’re someone who goes looking for unfinished spoilers you need to take it with a grain of salt because nothing you find in the unannounced game data is set in stone until we announce it is. So it’s a bit weird to complain about it.

Update:

We’ll be running an extra Vault Event weekend once the Kingdom Pass has finished.

This way everyone can play with their usual play time but get the extra Rewards during the event that otherwise wouldn’t have happened.

It also means you’ll get an assortment of rewards from the Gnomes in amounts more respective of your individual play time rather than us sending out just the compensation based on average free Gems earnt per day, which is much lower for some players and much higher for others.

So it’s 200 Gems for banned players, 50 Gems global comp, and an extra Vault weekend.

Date is still to be advised, we will announce it through the blog like the regularly scheduled events.

Also, we hear your feedback about our global compensation not just for this issue but for previous issues as well and we will be reviewing our compensation policy for more widespread issues and updating them following this.
