That’s my bad, I missed Orb of Ingots from the article, fixing it now, it has a 10% chance.
I will double check both lists in the article to be sure.

Which platform? It may have just not downloaded the latest text files when you first saw this window.
We’ve released a fix for an issue with Xathenos’ spell, which may also fix this issue.

Update on this:
We’ll be getting a different emoji set out to Elite Pass players. I don’t have an ETA for this yet but the team are working on it. Worst case scenario 2 weeks time would be the longest but we’re hoping to get it sorted out much sooner than that.
Knowing it’s quite close to your first login of the day is helpful.
Do you get taken through the initial loading screen with the 505Games and IP2 logos before getting this error or straight into the game?
There was an issue with the new emoji set that requires the art to be rebuilt - which means a client update. So it was switched to the existing emoji set.
I’ve asked what can be done about this instead of just the existing tentacle emoji set.
Once I have a reply I’ll let you all know and I’ll publish a known issues article to the Help Center.

Gems of War Anniversary
Gems of War is celebrating it’s 8th Birthday. To celebrate we have several things happening this week –

The stores perform QA on our builds before approving it to go live. We have our game on 7 stores, so it takes a little time for us to get the go ahead to press the release button.
Basically that means that for client fixes, like this hotfix, there is always a gap between when we’ve finished the work and when the update is released.
If it’s a server fix then we can release it as soon as we’ve finished our testing as it doesn’t involve the stores, but for this hotfix, it’s a client fix.
We’ll be working out what we can do regarding compensation once the issues are fixed. We always wait until after the issue is fixed to sort out comp so we can have the entire picture of how the issue affected the player base and how long the issues went on for.
If you would like a refund, please contact the store you made the purchase through. On our end we can only compensate in game, I don’t have the capability to process monetary transactions as we don’t handle the money ...
