Re: the loading line, sounds like the game may be having trouble connecting to the Xbox store, there’s a few things you can try:

1. exit the game fully and re-open it
2. ensure you’re connected to Xbox Live
3. turn off your xbox and turn the power off at the wall for 30 seconds
4. ^ same thing but for your router (but if everything else online on your xbox is working this probably won’t help)

I’ll check if this has been changed or reverted for any reason

Update:
There was a bug where no matter what level you were, you would get the highest tier rewards for watching ads. This was fixed during 6.6 - unfortunately, we missed the memo here on CX so didn’t communicate it at the time, I’m sorry for that.

That’s an odd fix but glad it worked - honestly usually the first thing I suggest people do despite the IT Crowd ruining it “Have you tried turning it off and on again?” - but it’s a god tier troubleshooting step haha. I mean the connection troubleshooting was have you tried turning your router off and on again - so I was close?

We have changed this weekend to the Invasion weekend and the Christmas weekend will be the Arena weekend.

Generally we actually see an uptick in active users over Christmas, due to people having more time off to play games. But this way everyone has the option to play or not without feeling any pressure to contribute to a guild event if they celebrate Christmas.

Taking another look at this, thanks for reviving the thread.

Just confirming what Madd said, the VIP Offer is random and doesn’t have anything to do with account progress outside of VIP, so this is not a bug.

Like SilverStream, my first thought is to do connection troubleshooting, as it freezes right on the Xbox login - which usually indicates the game server is having issues connecting to Xbox Live.

Here are the connection troubleshooting steps we get people to run through:

We’re aware of this and have investigated several times since it was first reported, so far though it is incredibly hard to reproduce, and investigations into the code and what could cause it haven’t turned up what’s causing it.

So it’s under ongoing investigation.

Sorry folks, if we could see the cause we would definitely get a fix out ASAP but right now we’re not sure still.

Hey folks, following up on the Campaign popup:

This is a bug - but it will work itself through then work fine in future.

Basically the Campaign pop up happens at a maximum of once per week.

Because it is new and because we’re in week 5 of the Campaign, the game is currently basically catching us all up to the week 5 notification… so once its done that it will stop popping up every login.

This was not intended to work this way as we know pop ups are annoying as heck. We’re sorry that it’s running through the 5 pop ups after updating.

During QA testing it appeared to work as intended, so I’ll ask the team to find out how this was tested so we can improve our QA for these timed pop ups in future.

Just confirming tagging mods generally doesn’t get you a faster response, we’re checking almost every thread every day (outside of ie. Guild recruitment threads).

I will generally see you tagged me while I’m already in the thread reading it before I see a notification for it - we are pinged a lot across every platform we work on so they become noise rather than helpful alerts.

We get more pings than we can physically keep up with as a human being with 8 hours in our work day.

Obviously we check for PMs but we only reply to PMs on the forum if it’s about an issue between forum users (arguments, threats, privacy issues etc), or something else that should be done in private (ie. maybe we asked for an invite code or an email).

Because you mentioned it: we have in the past asked players to not ping us and explained it doesn’t make a difference but it is what it is, and that’s ok.

The Dragonite Gnome (outside of GAPs) can drop a minimum of 20 Dragonite and a maximum of 100.

However, the chances of getting 100 Dragonite from a Dragonite Gnome are VERY low.

So on average, as a whole, players will earn around 30-40 Dragonite from the Gnome.

I thought the amount you folks were earning was very low, but then someone pointed out you’re encountering them in a GAP so you’re being affected by the low level explore balancer (not sure what else to call this) in your rewards.

The regular Gnome drops are a lot higher.

Posting here as well for visibility - I made a mistake on the Chaos Orb drop rate article sorry!
I basically ommitted just the Orb of Ingots from the list and it only added up to 90% chances for the Chaos Orb, after I added the Orb of Ingots to the Chaos Orb list, all 100% is accounted for.

I’ve double checked both lists and they are all good now.
