It resets after you change factions. There are no rollover days, so once you change factions it will be another 60 days before you can change again.

it will hold you to the 60 day cooldown, so if you are already at 70 days, then you will be able to reset your faction immediately after the patch.

Some folks who changed factions right before the cooldown change was made didn’t get the updated code. Your faction cooldown timer should be resolved (to 60 days) with the next big update.

Hi all,

We encountered an issue with four world sets - if you have a character on a world that is in maintenance, or you saw that your character seemed to disappear, do not worry, your character is not lost and you will be good to go soon.

It will take a few more minutes to get your worlds into the right state. Hang tight, I’ll update this thread when we plan to have those worlds come back online.

Shield stat bonuses only apply when the shield is unsheathed because we don’t want non-sword & shield players wearing shields just to get the bonuses.

However, we recognize that the current implementation isn’t very intuitive and does create an imbalance compared to players who use other weapon combinations. The team responsible for this work is currently looking into solutions that would resolve both issues.

This is at the very top of our radar. The absolute very top.

The pending and active ghost contracts issue that is blocking transfers isn’t something we can debug a player out of like the pending invite from a transferred player situation.

We are using a mix of manual and scripted processes to unstuck folks who have the contracts issue. Unfortunately not all ghost contracts are the same, and they are just different enough that the script needs to be constantly adjusted to address the edge cases we come across.

It’s going to take time. We want you to go hang out with your buddies as much as you do. We are working on it, I promise you.

Hey all,

We have been looking into this issue for a while and think we have discovered a mitigation we can use in the near term. The character mentioned by the OP should be unstuck. Please check.

For anyone stuck in this state, where you have a blank company invite that you cannot reject - please comment with your character name, as well as your region and world name.

While we work on a fix for this situation, our support team has begun manually removing the blank company invites. It’s going to take some time, but we will get you.

Due to the Amazon service issue, we have to delay our first merge by one day to Thursday AM (PST). If the Community Managers haven’t posted something about this already, they will. It’s been a wild day, and I’m sorry for those that didn’t get to play or had other concerns come up today. :confused:

We are also moving ahead, again barring anything that would make us pause coming from the Thursday merge, with two full or nearly full set merges (this is merging within a set, not across) on Friday.

As far as I’m aware, the two sets that are getting merges on Friday are: Vanaheim Terra and Nibiru Mu. Again though, I would wait for the CM message in official news for the final details.

Hi everyone,

We have tested world merges internally as well as in the November PTR. Both have given us good data as well as areas that needed to be addressed before attempting merges in the live game.

All internal testing has been exhausted which means it is time to verify the feature works on a live world.

This week we are testing two scenarios: (1) a single merge, meaning two worlds become one, which has already been announced/scheduled, and barring any surprises, (2) a full set merge where all worlds within a set merge into one world.

Details on the latter (#2 in the list above) are pending, but I hope to have that information out to folks by end of day tomorrow. Keep watch on the Official News section for updates.

Either the Community Managers or myself will update you early next week after we have had time to review/address the results of the completed merges.

Hey all, my apologies for not responding to this thread sooner. There are some tricky edge cases around the server transfers that we are addressing. I don’t have an ETA on when a scalable resolution will be ready, but I can say with confidence that resolving stuck contracts is one of our highest priorities.

In the meantime, we have been manually removing stuck contracts for individual characters every day. It’s a lot to ask from you, given that you’ve already been waiting a long time, but please hang in there.

I’m only going to post what I am absolutely sure about, which is that this is a small patch that we hope moves the needle for stabilization and performance. I don’t have additional information on future updates.
