Amazing to see how unpopulated the game is lately too! Haven't played in a week, played 2 games, all the same problems, couldn't get a 60 person lobby populated for 5 minutes, incredible.
This will be deleted soon I'd imagine.
Do you have any videos of this - we're yet to reproduce this ourselves and can't find any pics/videos of it :(
Does nobody have video/pictures of this still :( lol
oh lol, I wonder if it was me
Checked with the other two Community Managers - None of us posted that - so it's not confirmed yet how many levels
I can promise it's more than Season 2 though
Will you ever release a skin of the support team’s scientist mascot? I always thought it looked nice.
I think there were issues with splitting it top half and bottom half nicely - I think it was designed back before the splitting of the costumes, maybe?
No i am not on discord. I just saw one of the community manager here posted a comment about having 6 new levels
oh lol, I wonder if it was me
You will get 6 brand new maps initially
Not sure on your source for this - but if it's anything from the beta discord, please remember that is under NDA
I think fall guys looks so fun but that guy makes me feel embarrassed to try it out, and the rapidly declining playerbase shows a lot of people probably feel the same way
Yeah it's definitely because of Oliver, read the reviews on Steam it's all "I would play if it wasn't for the memes". Lol what
lol every time someone says "the game is dying because of your tweets" it's actually me that dies
thank you for reporting this! I've been trying to get into royal fumble recently so I can record and send it in. Saw it on a couple streamers earlier this week and it's been a massive exploit now. Needs to be fixed right away. u/oliverage24artist u/fallguysjoe
We've removed the game until we can get it fixed up, thanks!
I totally understand needing the money, and I am not against that at all and support paid skins. I just mean the most medieval skin you could get, a knight, you can’t earn in game
We're always going to have some skins behind a paid DLC - there are a lot of costs involved keeping the game running, building up the team, and adding loads of extra content - the DLC's will help pay for those. Most costumes you can earn by playing the game though. There will be more costumes in Season 3, and even more in Season 4! Just takes a while for us to build up team size!
There have been plenty of medieval costumes, most of them are in the battlepass. Then there was the dutchess, the princess, the viking and probably some others I forgot.
Since this is a service game that requires ongoing development and resources for years to come they will need to earn more money than just the base price of the game. Exclusive costumes are a good way to do it that doesn't make it pay to win.
ORC too, we'll have more costumes in Season 3 than there were in Season 2, and then more again in Season 4 - we've still just been scaling up. The costumes take a while to make, so we'll start seeing the results of our new team size very soon!
The "theme" for this season feels pretty weak all things considered. I know it's just me expecting more content than what was planned but I do hope that going forward there is more content to fit the theme.
Or, party pooper mode here, just fewer crossover promotional skins - the game is more advertisement for Devolver games half the time in the shop than it is embracing its own voice.
Season 3 is looking WEIGHTY with new costumes, and Season 4 is looking EVEN WEIGHTIER - we've been hiring so many more artists! Upcoming stuff looks awesome!
Ive asked if it can be taken down while we fix it 😩👌
If I had to guess - it looks like a spectator only bug, and you're not being sent the correct positions of the other players...
I've sent it to the devs though, will see what they say lol
I’m sorry, I really don’t mean to be rude, but how is it that you always talk of all this “testing”, and yet everything you release is broken? For example, you broke the speed of the bar on Jump Showdown when season 2 launched. It took literally one time playing the level to see that it was broken, but it still got pushed out like that. Here’s another example: with the region and language options added in the settings, it is now impossible to adjust the bottommost setting (Screen Space Reflections I believe). If you try to scroll to it, it gets skipped and you end up at the top again.
Things like that sure don’t make it seem like this “testing” is as intense as you say it is.
We're still a relatively small team, and to test it properly, you need 40-60 people - and you have to test every round. Then on top of that, you have every individual setting, and different UI screen. I'm just going on what I've seen - but there's the time it takes the devs to add each feature, then a few loops of testing, fixing, testing, fixing, etc... Things do slip through the cracks - it's a big game. This is the first time I've heard about the SSR settings being unreachable - I imagine QA have it logged as a bug, but I'll pass it on. We don't broadcast it so much, but there were over 100 fixes in this build - and there's a database of all known bugs that we're working through. There aren't really any bug-free games. Fixing/changing one part, can potentially cause a break in another part of the game - really hard to catch everything.
I think this is actually a different problem - you're not grabbing and holding the crown instead of hanging from it - your client thinks you've made a grab, but the server is not registering it as valid - maybe the crown is not in the correct place on your client as it is on the server.
I'll check with the devs but I remember them saying this may still be an issue
Any ETA on the fix? I think a lot of us are getting real tired of every minor thing taking two weeks to get fixed. Simple things like <sprite=6> were day one patch material.
Not sure - honestly, the reason it takes a while for an update - whenever we fix anything like this, we have to do a round of testing on it. We can't do a round of testing and patch for each individual bug - it would take far too long.
We didn't mention it in the patch notes, for example, but we actually fixed over 100 bugs in this update. Lots of little things most people won't notice - but it's really substantial. In order to do updates every few weeks, we need to group as much together into each update as possible.
LIL YEETY we call him
They should change that. There's no point in keeping the boring one in.
The other thread on here would disagree with you lol
