I'm genuinely curious, but do you guys ever plan on removing the Q sheen interaction? It'd definitely put a huge nail into the coffin for trinity builds. Although maybe it'd be cool if her zap gave her a sheen proc since that's technically an ability, so she'd have to weave the zaps with Q to use trinity.
I’d defer to her champ designer but it could be done. I don’t have a super strong opinion except that I kinda dislike turning it off. It breaks baseline expectation in a pretty weird way.

Isn't like that on every social media though? I understand most don't have the pure flame and hatred twitter has, but unfortunely it's only a matter of time for that kind of content to change to platforms that are growing in visibility.
For example, I used to use a portuguese football subreddit, the community was great and now is infested with toxicity due it's growth. Even here on lol subreddit, if you aren't a "famous" guy, you end up being straight up downvoted if your opinion is controversial. I miss the times when you could engage freely with others with different opinions without that stupid toxicity.
Eh, Reddit feels much more usable because there's at least some level of curation outside of "They wrote @RiotPhreak at some point before flaming someone else on the site"

So it is AT LEAST as good as Stormrazor actually if not better on live. You have it BiS on 4 melees and 2 ADCs and it will be BiS after Stormrazor is nerfed for at least 5 more.
And that is in gold+ and plat+. The item is an active item and actives tend to become better in higher elos and pro play. In Dia+ the item is BiS already for Aphelios and a few others.
With this nerf I am sure every crit ADC who doesn't want Navori will take Gale instead. Navori takes a totally different niche than IE and Gale, so it isn't battling these 2, which is why Xayah, Sivir and maybe 1-2 others still go Navori. But for everyone who might want to go IE, Gale alr...
On an individual level, 13.11 Gale is similar in power to 13.9 Gale but it now comes with an opportunity cost of no IE/QB, which wasn't true before. IE/QB are clearly very strong items.
I also don't mind doing a few sequential smaller changes than swinging wildly back and forth. The items aren't terribly far apart in average power level.
What? It's not an AA to trigger the energize, but the AA that triggers the next Q to bounce incorrectly.

Anything about his Galeforce opinion? Because currently the balancing team seems to think Galeforce is fine (because the nerf is a super tiny dmg scaling nerf). With the Stormrazor nerf Galeforce will likely be the 1st item to rush.
All the systems changes with crit items were meant to be fairly light touches. Galeforce is BiS on the wind bros but doesn't seem terribly over the line on others. It's going to be optimal on someone, otherwise it's just not a good item. I don't think Galeforce is super far off.
u/PhreakRiot do you guys have an eye on Kai'sa? I really love what you did with the new Item Rework but Stormrazor this patch was the most efficient way to get her Q evolve. Even though personally I don't like that item on her because I beleive Kraken Slayer synergizes better with her kit. But in 13.11 even that won't be as easy anymore for a champion who really relies on getting her Q evolve as early as possible
I'm aware that Kai'Sa is pretty constrained on finding good evolve targets. The current plan is to take a close look for 13.12.

I just went back and reviewed the game where the bug happened. The events went like this:
- Renata R Hits majority of team, Ezreal dies while berserk.
- Upon Respawning, Ezreal runs to bottom lane and pokes at wave using Q (Mystic Shot).
- First Mystic Shot proc's Stattik shiv as normal
- Second Mystic Shot is non-energized
- Third Mystic Shot proc's Stattik Shiv as normal
- Ezreal auto attacks a minion
- Fourth Mystic Shot is non-energized
- Fifth Mystic Shot hits enemy minion, Stattik Shiv bounces to allied minions.
What is odd is that it seemed to be only after I auto-attacked that the bug occurred, and not before. This is not what I expected based on your comment:

Your first Q bounced to your own minion. At no point did you auto-attack to trigger Energize. Your experience perfectly matches my expectation.

also a lot of ADCs weren't going to kite at full attack speed,it's mechanically very hard to do at high numbers so they would "lose" atk speed
i think it's partially a matter of habit,changing the timing on kiting can make it feel clunky at first before you get used to it,but it also makes the role more accessible to players new to it i guess
I believe pretty strongly that ADC gets less skewed if overall attack speed goes down. A similar line of reasoning is reducing the skill expression of the class, but that likely won’t go over well.
Renata did get experience and gold from the minions that I killed. I also did take damage as seen in the video.
There are other moments in the replay that I managed to snap up on now. There is one moment right after one team fight in which renata also used ult. I hop into a minion wave and it managed to damage both me and my friends champion.

Yep that all works like I anticipate based on my knowledge of the bug. Once you auto to Shiv, it should have returned to normal.
Is it because Katarina can shunpo to her own minions? same as Renata attacking her own team. Maybe it's just a bug with friend or foe type thing
Unlikely. Mystic Shot and Yasuo/Yone Q have the exact same interaction.
I do think an execute indicator on Rend would help in lowering Kalista's absurd skill floor.
Anecdotally speaking she feels like the bot later with the greatest gap between skill ceiling and floor. Maybe an execute indicator could make her more balanceable in the long run.

That only matters on the second wave. Otherwise, waves still meet 30 seconds apart from each other.

Minion spawn rate has not increased. Minion inflation is basically zero.
Err, I was talking about the meme Veigar build where he can do insane dmg with his autos thanks to his infinite scaling and the additional AP boosts on those items. Like people were doing more dmg via autos than his ult, and not to mention he can one shot towers.
Mages dealing more auto-attack damage by building attack damage items is an intended result of buying attack damage items.
Have you considered a solution where buying a crit mythic converts a portion of AS to crit chance? Or a mythic passive that grants crit? Or maybe make the crit part an adaptive stat? I'm a fan of buying some of these items on non crit champions but the only way you can make the crit part not a waste of gold is through guinsoo which limits the amount of build choices (e.g. shiv on riftmaker Kayle, etc).
Technically, crit isn't a wasted stat on Riftmaker Kayle: She still has some AD and that AD will crit and she will get some damage out of it.
Admittedly, it's still less-good than otherwise.
It just feels really punishing for the kalista player if the E damage is miscalculated by lets say even a single auto due to its long cooldown
