That is some dedication and patience, Miner. Management approves.

We have people actively working on it, alongside everything else we're working on. We'll have something concrete to say on it soon. :)

As it says on page 58 of New Miner's Handbook: "Stay Together, Stay Alive".

Management would like to remind our employees not to take undue risks that might endanger company property. Remember, you are responsible for the condition of your gear upon return from a mission!

Rock and Stone, Miner! Remember to take breaks to eat and sleep! A tired miner is a reckless miner!

Hmmm. I'm the one that wrote that line, so I'm sad to read this post. First off, condolences to your partner. Not the intention to bring up that kind of hurt at all.

The *intended* implication from the line is basically just "Hey random bug, I've shot your mother in the past, now I'll shoot you the same way." Lighthearted, brash, probably not even true. Just something someone that shoots thousands of bugs for a living might say. But I can see how the specific words of the line can trigger painful memories in your partner's case.

I can't promise the line will go away. As has been pointed out, it's become a staple of the game by now. But we'll take it under consideration.

Regardless, I hope my explanation here at least helps some.

Rock and Stone, miners.

Thanks for the ping. I've replied properly in the thread.

I can't offer any solutions to the issue at this point, but I'm forwarding this post to the programmers. You're not making an unreasonable request, we might be able to do something.

If it's any consolation, more or less all song covers or creative videos make the rounds at the office and cause great joy and pride. :)

the only other voicelines in the game are delivered by mission control, who is voiced by Robert Friis, art director and Co-founder of ghost ship games. also mission control looks very much like him too, so its basicly a self insert.

I will neither confirm nor deny those OUTRAGEOUS allegations that Mission Control is a self-insert.
