Hey there – I have followed up, and at this time there are not plans to alter the skin an additional time, which means it is indeed not dyeable. I am very sorry for those who are disappointed in this, and for all of the confusion around it as the skins went through these changes.
I don’t know enough about Genshin’s anti-cheat software to speak directly to it, however it is not a violation to play two separate games. However, trying to play two different games at the same time will sometimes throw issues with conflicting anti-cheat, so it looks like some process is running in the background here. Does this still happen after a computer restart?
If you see folks in-game consistently abusing this, please report them through our support channels or the in-game report system.
The original post was removed because you stated you would be collecting screenshots of these players to post on the forums. That breaks our forum rules directly, as this is not a path for reporting players.
It should not, as long as it is not altering any game files (which it wouldn’t). You may be blocked from running both clients at once, but that wouldn’t lead to a ban
If that was the case, I would share that. We are still planning for it.
The thing is, if we share a longer term plan, and it ultimately shifts, there will be backlash. Even if we are transparent in saying “this might change,” people will lock in their expectations and when it does it will become an issue. We are thinking longer term now, but even internally between teams we expect these things to change in the future and haven’t locked them in yet as we continue to move ahead, make changes, and learn. Since we don’t have our plans locked on the inside, it’s not a great idea to share them on the outside and set any inappropriate expectations
It will likely still be a short look of roughly the same length, we are looking at ~2 months. I think with the amount of time it has taken for us to lock this one, that well illustrates why we want to be careful looking too far ahead
Ah, then no. Raids/classes/etc are part of this, but it will be shared together instead of fragmenting the roadmap
This is specifically a “content roadmap” for players, and we will share the content pieces in this one space. When it comes to issues/bugs, those happen in real time and are updated along the way, and shouldn’t be expected to be in the content roadmap.
I know that people are frustrated with getting a similar answer about the roadmap being worked on, but in being as transparent as possible that is exactly where we’re at; we are still working on it. Content is shifting as we determine what players will be ready for and when, and look at how things may affect future pacing and changes. When we lock it in, it will be shared.
Abusing exploits does break our Code of Conduct, and may be actionable (under rule #3, play fair): https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=GK4QHHHAC82SQTS8
I do not suggest using this exploit, just reporting the bug and moving along
I agree it is not an ideal wait, and I apologize. There are still puzzle pieces moving in the background that we are working around in the meantime, but we want to make sure we do it right instead of do it quickly
Heyo, this is something the team is aware of and has escalated for a fix
Edited some deets out to prevent abuse; I know it’s already floating around but trying to prevent exacerbation in the meantime
At this point in time, unfortunately there are no plans to open up an OCE specific region server
Hey there, thanks for the report. The team is aware and has escalated. I apologize for removing your post content, just don’t want any bad actors trying to that info or build off of it in the meantime
Appreciate the reports – we are aware of the issue (and removing posts with the particular bug to not encourage abuse, even though it is already happening). We will have a fix sometime this week.
The Fever Time Event is just an additional free item claim – it was not put in place to have any effect on honing, which is why it does not
We are aware of this issue, and will have a fix in place sometime this week. Thanks for the reports.
Welp, that doesn’t seem to be working as intended, then. I will investigate further
