Hey thanks for the feedback!

I've already done the work for adding the visible gear, so it's not really an issue. I appreciate the advice, though!

Does this happen after re-loading the save? I'd love to take a look at the save to better diagnose the problem. Maybe someone is stuck somewhere that's hungry, they are creating eat/drink jobs, and other are starting the jobs. Tough to tell. Does sound like a nasty bug I'd like to fix, though.

You can send me the save file by following these steps:

Hello!

Today I'll be talking about all the exciting things coming for the next expansion, Timeless Tyrants. I have been extremely busy working on this one and I still have quite a bit of work to do to get it into your hands. I don't want to promise anything but I should be able to put out a beta build in a couple weeks.

Alright, let's take a look at what's coming down the pipe!

The Ardyn Race Every expansion going forward will introduce a new race to play. This expansion will unlock the Ardyn, a race of fierce warriors with a vibrant culture and history.

The unique aspect of the Ardyn race is that they age extremely fast. Every one hour of in-game time is one year to them. To combat this, they have evolved the ability to syphon life from other entities, keeping themselves from ever growing old. Their ... Read more

Thanks for the suggestions! I will keep this in mind as I improve that system. I'd like to add (though, this doesn't necessarily solve your problems) that item blacklisting and stockpile priorities are coming in the next expansion. But, I'll be sure to think about your examples when I next work on this system. Thanks!

Hmm, that's one I've not heard of before. Were you able to play at any point? Or is this the first time playing?

I'm happy to take a look at the debug log if you send it over.

You can find it in this folder depending on the platform:
Location on Windows: C:\users\you\appdata\locallow\Unknown Origin Games\OddRealm
Location on Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Unknown Origin Games/OddRealm
Location on Linux: ~/.config/unity3d/Unknown Origin Games/OddRealm

I'd need both Player.log and Player-prev.log right after you get the blue screen.

You can email them to [email protected]

Thanks and sorry you're encountering this issue!

Thanks for the bug report!

Regarding building requiring ladders, it's an unfortunate trade off to have actual walls which deter hostiles. That said, I've been thinking of adding some sort of scaffold which disappears after a time. Just haven't been able to quite test that concept out. If you have any other ideas, I'd love to hear them!

Definitely sounds like a bug. Thanks for letting me know. I'll do some digging to see what's causing this. Thank you!

You'll probably need to reset the unity playerpref resolution settings. Here are the locations for all platforms:

Windows:
1. Click the start button.
2. Type 'regedit' without quotes.
3. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Unknown Origin Games > Odd Realm
4. Right-click Screenmanager Resolution Height, select delete
5. Right-click Screenmanager Resolution Width, select delete

You should be able to open the game and it will pick the appropriate default window size for your monitor. If not, you might need to specify window size in the registry edit window to what you want, instead of deleting those entries. You might want to delete, 'Screenmanager Is Fullscreen mode' too, as that might being minimizing the window.

macOS:
You'll need to edit the keys in the plist:
~/Library/Preferences/com.UnknownOriginGames.OddRealm.plist

Linux:
You'll need to edit:
~/.config/unity3d/UnknownOriginGames/OddRealm

Stockpile priorities as well as item blacklisting (i.e., wood log) are coming in for the next update.

I'd suggest changing the priority of the jobs in the production window to be higher to have your carpenters do those first.

Stockpile priorities as well as stockpile item blacklisting have been added to the next expansion. It used to be a thing with zones, but, because the whole system was rebuilt, I wasn't able to re-implement it in time for Sacred Scrolls.

There is no loot button. Entities will collect items from dropped bags if you have the stockpiles to put the items. You can destroy the bag with the remove job. This will not destroy the items.

There's no UI specifically for the animal enclosure. The next expansion has stockpile priorities to help manage room items a bit better. Until then, they will only fill the room with items if they become available and aren't already in a room or reserved.

Well, food does expire after a time. Could this be happening?

I'm happy to take a look at your save file if you'd like.
