While Lost Ark may be a game that is rated M for mature, that does not give folks free reign to say or act however they please. Amazon Games has a Code of Conduct that we actively enforce because the safety of our players and community is paramount. Even the presence of a chat filter does not mean you can type whatever you want and expect others to ignore you.

In the words of Bill and Ted, be excellent to each other. Do that, and you can’t go wrong.

Here is a quick video we made that helps cover the basics of Lost Ark! If you are a new player or someone who has been searching for the Ark for years, this information can help you in your quest to save Arkesia!

I am going to let this thread stay open despite it’s original, less than constructive title, as there is real opportunity for high quality, constructive criticism and feedback. However, if this thread starts getting too rowdy (i.e. non-constructive and full of Code of Conduct violations) we will shut it down.

We all want New World to be an awesome game. High quality constructive feedback is something that helps us chase that goal. Please keep conversations civil and focused on the game.

In the future please post bug reports to the Bug Report section. Our QA team looks to those reports in that section to help identify both issues and their underlying causes.

Patch day can be a rough time, for sure. Issues pop up and the team is super actively looking for, tracking, and working to resolve bugs.

If you’ve found any bugs, please be sure to post them in the Bug Reports section with as much detail as you can. The more info we have the better we will be able to identify root causes and address issues.

Alright, a few things here.

The forums are not a place to debate what is and isn’t racism. Racism takes many different forms and is expressed in many different ways. It can also vary dramatically from culture to culture. Games are not a place for racism, bigotry, or any type of toxicity based on the person who is playing or the character they have created.

Our Game Moderators take racism reports incredibly seriously. They review every report they receive. Any evidence that there is racism happening, they take action. In game reporting of the chat messages involved are the fastest way to get the Game Moderators attention. If you are experiencing issues here in the forums, flagging the post gets our Forum Moderators attention the fastest.

I am just finishing reading through this thread.

Firstly, this thread was not made with the best intentions for the community in mind. It is clear from the wording of the initial post that this was meant to be inflammatory and cause unrest here in the forums. The forums are meant to be a constructive and enjoyable place for players to come and talk about, feedback on, and express their fandom of New World. While we openly agree that there are issues with the game that we have constantly stated we are working to resolve, toxic threads such as these are not welcome here in this community.

Next, in regards to transfers, the team is still working to resolve the issues that have held up transfers for everyone. They want transfers to be enabled just as much as you do. When we have more information, you can be certain that we will be sharing it.

We know the subject of bots is a sore one. It is super frustrating to be spending your time as a regular player in game only to have resources or other aspects be manipulated by some random script program that someone installed so they can “gain” while those individuals aren’t actively taking part.

Addressing bots and other exploits is something that our team is very focused on. So much so that this topic was the longest individual part of our recent Dev Update Video.

The reason our Moderation staff are closing topics is because, for the most part, they are topics reporting an individual bot on an individual server. Hey everyone,

The team has been investigating this incident and working directly with the Content Creator involved to resolve this issue. The intended target for the strike was an advertisement on YouTube for a gold selling website. By mistake, the video was reported instead, we have since removed the strike and the video is live again. We will revise our internal processes to ensure this issue does not impact other folks in the future. We apologize for this poor experience and any concerns it created.
